These benefits include the following:
Discounted hotel prices through Walt Disney Travel Company - this discount is shown in the AAA brochure for Walt Disney Travel Company along side the price non AAA members pay so you can immediately see the discount. This discount is up to 15% and is even available for stays at the 3 Disney Resort Hotels.
Enhanced Fastpass service for Resort Hotel Guests - this allows you to get multiple Fastpasses at the same time. For example… you can 1 Fastpass per person for each ride at both Disneyland and California Adventure without waiting the required 2 hours or until your previous Fastpass has expired. This enhanced Fastpass is only available to people who stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel, Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian when the reservation is made using AAA travel; who then confirm your reservation through the Walt Disney Travel Company. If you are going in the summer or during a holiday period this is a wonderful benefit to limit your time waiting in queues for the attractions.
Making your reservation through AAA entitles you to free parking for your vehicle at the Paradise Pier Hotel, Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian during your stay at the Disney Resort.
Each guest using AAA reservation will get an AAA collectible pin, lanyard and luggage tag. While guests that use Walt Disney Travel Company and not AAA Travel get these items as well the ones through AAA are different than the standard items.
For each reservation through AAA you will get a California Diamond Fun Book. This fun book gives discounts for the Disneyland Resort as well as other Southern California destinations.
The following items don't require that you make your reservation through AAA for your trip to the Disneyland Resort but are still available for AAA members.
There are many AAA discounts while at the Disneyland Resort. Be sure to take your card even if you didn't make the reservation using AAA traval. Many restaurants will give the standard 10% AAA discount including Goofy's Kitchen, Plaza Inn, Ariel's Grotto, PCH Grill and the Wine Country Trattoria at Disney's California Adventure. The discounts at Plaza Inn and PCH Grill can be used for both character dining in the morning or for non character meals in the afternoon and evening.
By showing your AAA card, you can also get 20% off the tours available at the Disneyland Resort. This includes the well known Walk In Walt's Footsteps tour.
