Do you think about Disney or a DisneyTheme Park very often? It seems that in our house, we think about Disneyland all the time.
At our house, Alex loves to play Disneyland, watch Disneyland DVD’s and simply talk about Disneyland. He is very excited to ride Indiana Jones Adventure for the first time, and we simply hope he is tall enough to do that on our next trip.
Between making Disneyland with his various toys – oh what an imagination he has at just 4 years old, or telling his friends about Disneyland, Disney is obviously one of Alex’s favorite subjects.
Right now, Alex has a friend over who has never been to Disneyland. She is getting a crash course from Alex on ‘it’s a small world’, Star Tours, and Indiana Jones.
Sure, we have given Alex ample opportunity to learn about other things most children like. We have shown him Spiderman, which the absolute favorite of one of his friends. Shrek, sure he loves those movies, but does he talk about them with friends? Not our Alex.
There is not a day that goes by that Alex doesn’t think about Disneyland. Because of that there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about Disneyland. Every night, Andy is talking with Alex about Disneyland, or one of his new favorite games, Andy makes one of our dogs ‘talk’ about Disneyland with Alex.
Sure, I write every day for the website, or am working on some facet of the website in a daily basis, but that is work. Oh yes, don’t get me wrong, it is hard work, but I love what I do. Between being a mother who gets to stay at home, and working on our website, writing about one of my most favorite things I must say with complete conviction, I love my jobs!
It is absolutely wonderful to have a child who loves Disney as much as his parents do. I can’t wait until he has his own column on this site. It should only be a few years and then he can personally tell you all about Disneyland in his eyes.
We think about, and talk about Disneyland every day. And I would not have it any other way!
