What is Disney Magic?

I thought this would be a great topic to write about since I have been really thinking about Disney Magic for the past few days.

Of course the Disney Magic is a ship that sails from Florida, but that is not what I am talking about here.  Instead I want to address what I see as Disney Magic.  What attracts me when I go to Disneyland and how it makes me feel.

What immediately comes to mind when I think of that special magic is Disneyland at Christmas.  In my humble opinion that is Disney Magic at its best.  With the decorations, the snow, the music, the carolers, Small World Holiday and more Disneyland just becomes that much more magical around the holidays.

For the rest of the year though, this special magic does exist.  I especially notice the magic the minute I step through the front gates and see the big Mickey Mouse Floral right in front of me.  They are now adding another favorite character of mine, Tinker Bell to the floral and I can’t wait to see that on my next trip.

I feel the Magic when I enter underneath the left tunnel after stopping to read the plaque above my head.  Bringing tears to my eyes the Disney Magic smacks me right in the face at this point.

It hits me again when I step into Main Street and see the interior of Disneyland.  My first look at the Partners Statue and the first glimpse of SleepingBeautyCastle holds a power over me.  This power, also known as Disney Magic will remain throughout our whole trip to Disneyland.

The look in my son’s eyes as he experiences Disneyland again and new things each time as he grows older is also magical.

So the big question is this:  I love the Disney Magic, so how do I bring it into my life?  I will answer that question in my next article.  Until then, I would love to hear what you feel provides the most magic when you are Disneyland or Walt Disney World.  Stop by our forums anytime to discuss this topic.  www.disneymouselinks.com/forums

Until next time, have a magical day!

Leanne
