For our last 5 trips to Disneyland we have stayed at the Disneyland Resort Hotels. In the past, resort hotel guests received early entry into the parks, but this is no longer available. (Rumor has it that on some days there is early entry into Toontown. Call your resort hotel directly to verify.) While that perk is gone now there are still many reasons to stay in a Disneyland Resort Hotel.
