| Day 1 Saturday May 19th. Let me start by telling you a little bit about my family. My name is Wendi, I’m married to Chuck and we have two sons Charlie 4 and Payton 18 months. We started our day off by participating in our local towns Pet Parade. We live in a small little town in Northern California, population 2500. Charlie dressed in his Oakland Raiders uniform pulled Payton dressed in his Colts uniform down Main Street in the wagon. I walked along side with our 8 month old Mastiff puppy Cassi; she was dressed as a cheerleader. She’s not your average size puppy at only 8 months she is about ½ grown and is already up to 85 pounds. She looked adorable in her costume. After the parade we headed home for lunch and naps. While the kids slept we finished packing the car up for our long road trip ahead. The kids woke up around 2PM. We drove our dogs over to my moms and we left there around 4PM. Our plan was to drive about half way to DL. We stopped off for dinner at around 5:15 at a Denny’s. We drove until we noticed the kids starting to fall asleep, so we found the nearest Hotel and got a room for the night in Tulare. The kids were so excited once we got them in the room; we had a hard time getting them back down. What is it about a hotel that excites kids? | | Wendi - how did the parade go? Do you have pics? I would sure love to see them. How far is Tulane from Disneyland? And about kids and hotels - doesn't a hotel always mean something fun? To Alex it does, since he only stays at a hotel on vacation in Disneyland or San Diego. To kids, a hotel is different, new and great fun. They can dream about things they will do tomorrow! Leanne

| | Hotels also mean.... "Mommy lets me bounce on the bed." I know I'm bad! The parade went great, I do have pictures, but my computer kept re-booting on me the other day. I think it has a bad virus, a bunch of nasty pictures kept popping up also! My husband took it to his friends today to get fixed. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of the parade and our trip this weekend. In case you didn't know, I'm kinda a photography nut! I took 800 pictures on our trip! |

| You know, usually I have at least that many pics, but our last trip, we didn't take more than 350. It was a shock! I can't wait to see them either Wendi!
