| | You know, that would be so awesome to have a group meet sometime. Wanna help our site make money so we can go too? lol I am the lucky one here though. I met Disneydreamer last year, Kevin years ago, and Shawna today. I get to meet 34Angels this fall. So, while we don't have official meets yet, I feel so lucky to know so many of my online friends personally too! Leanne

| | It really isn't a bad idea, but it might be easier for some people who don't have to plan a whole family thing (ie. me), versus people who would bring their whole family (and in turn be more expensive). A meet and greet would be awesome though, and it would be really nice to get together. If anyone is ever out Pittsburgh way, let me know! I can give a good city tour (a depending if you want to go to our South Side, a good "pub crawl"). |

| Actually, we could do a group discount thing and it would be cheaper even for famlies. I mean, if they're planning a trip anyways why would they not go if they could get a discount AND stay on site for cheaper? I would do that! And then we could all get the "official" Magical Gatherings shirts (and be dorks together and wear them on the same day, maybe get pulled into a parade or something!). I think this is a wonderful idea, maybe we could look into it (hint hint Tink!!  ). I haven't checked out the magical gatherings in awhile, periodically, when it looked like we're going to have a huge group go with us, I would look into it but it never seems to pan out that way so I quit investigating the group discount. Why in the world have we not thought about this before?! Oh, I know why, 'cause the brains behind the thought has been in China for awhile. That does it then, Kevin, you are not allowed to leave again, we need your thoughts!!

| | Okay children (spoken in my best Mommy voice), I will keep this in mind. But would it be okay with you kids if we wait a while? I have been thinking about this since we started the forums. The problem is this: we are still too small. Oh, that doesn't mean we are bad. We have the best group of members on the internet. But when we have a small group, if a few people can't go, then the group itself gets too small. With a huge number of people, then it isn't so bad if several can't go. So now it is your turn. Tell your friends about us. Get them to join the boards. If they love Disney, heck if they just Like Disney, send them here! Lets increase membership! Danette and Kevin, I know for a fact you BOTH know people who love Disney and would be perfect members of these forums! Give me some time. After all, I am not made of money, and we could not do something like that right now. Okay, better end this so I can write write write. The more we put up, the more people who visit the site, so write write write! lol Leanne

| | Truthfully you are right. The planning involved would be picking a date, and having a certain amount of guarantees about coming. You would need a minimum of 10 or so committments to make it worth while. There really is no guarantees that we could get that many even if you pre-planned the event 1 year or so in advance. I've told people about the site. I certainly hope that this can grow and become the definative resource for information on the web. Everyone here seems so very helpful. I'm really amazed also at the other interests people share (like the discussions in the non-Disney entertainment). |

| | Thanks so much children! lol You know I love you all like family. That is one great thing about a small community. But you also know me. I want our site to be the biggest. It is already the best. We have a great group and yes, that even goes for our non Disney misc. That area does very well with all the people on these boards. I am very happy that everyone is so wonderful, nice, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Lets keep getting the word out. Leanne
