The one and ONLY Ride in the world I will NOT, repeat NOT ride is a ferris wheel.  Let alone a swinging one!  No way!  I have no idea why a ferris wheel is the only one I ever have any problem with....but it is.  Guy shares the same feelings so we always avoid it.  Last summer at 6 Flags the kids wanted to ride (looks similar to the gondolas at DL but not as nice-but I haven't been on the DL ones).  Guy and I both sweated in line and tried our best to get out of it.  So low and behold at the top of the darn thing....the bottom one had a malfunction which caused us to sit up there for an hour while they fixed the bottom one.  Ugh!  Never again!!! No Way!  I'm shocked that you braved a swinging one (not Alex though, he's a tough cookie)!!!!

Mynde - All it takes is faith and trust...and something I forgot...Dust...just a little bit of Pixie Dust

lol Mynde, I am a sucker for punishment.  I wear the patch for motion sickness, but I tend to forget that the patch doesn't help with my fear of heights.  I am not a ferris wheel person normally, but I love to try everything at Disneyland at least once!

Now I know I will do it again - as long as it is dark out!

not sure I could do the swinging gondola, but i still do ferris wheels even though I was stuck at the top of on for over an hour once.

Do you normally ask for ranch dressing when getting the carrots. If they have it for salads you can usually get it by just asking or by a great CM hearing you ask why there is no ranch for your childs carrots.

Backstage Disneyland, how cool.

Yes, backstage was awesome.

We do ask for the dressing when we remember (if we forget we have to go back and wait in line to get it. lol)  I just find it amazing that they don't offer it or something else since most kids prefer to dip their veggies.  Oh well. lol

I don't do well on ferris wheels at all.  I hate sitting at the top while they load and unload.  I will have to try a normal ferris wheel in the dark and see if that helps!
