Well, all Bops fans, I have begun the long process of sitting down with my guitar and a computer to glean the chord structures from the Bops songs. I don't want to violate any laws, but I will soon have my son's favorite songs in printable format with chords ready to go. Give me a few weeks and I'll be ready to jam with the Bops live!

Anybody interested in my work can send me a private message asking for my email, and we can go from there.

Are there any musician parents out there? Is this thing working? ;^)

That is awesome!  I am so glad you found a way to do it!

The way I do it is to sit in front of CD player with my guitar and figure it out by ear. It's LOW tech, but I was able to do Very Scary in about three hours total. I found that some of the lyrics on dontpulltherope.com were slightly off too, so that added some time as I had to write it all out longhand. But I think it's all great fun and will keep doing it as time permits.

I am very interested in your work!  My name is Candy and I have been trying to find sheet music-to no avail.  My email is <snip>.  I am excited to hear back from you.

This is the first time I have ever had this kind of dialogue-in a chat room type forum. I hope I'm doing this right.  Thanks!!!

You did it fine.

I did remove you email from the post to keep spammers from finding it.  People can use the PM function to contact you if they need to.
