We are not going to the movie because of Alex - but will buy the DVD.  Definitely let us know about it - a review would be great if you want to do that for the site!  If not, just let us know how you liked it and all that good stuff.

Went to see Prince Caspian today. It was a really good movie although I did like the first film better. This is a darker movie in which the director takes a lot of libertys with the film. Scenes are added that were not part of the book and some scenes were stretched a little too long. There is a lot of action but I felt that some of the important scenes from the book were removed from the movie and I for one thought it changed things a bit. It still is a very good movie and I highly recommend it.

I will admit I wasn't sold by the actor playing Prince Caspian although he did an adequete job. I think one of the things that I missed was that I didn't get as much of a connection from the creatures of Narnia as I did the first movie. They were not as much a focus but more of a background.

I took my almost 6 yr old daughter to see it and she wanted to buy it right after. She loved it but there were a couple of scary parts for her. She loved the first movie and loved this one also.

I did enjoy it and cannot wait for the third movie.

Saw it last night. A much darker movie. As a matter of fact some children in front of me were scared (especially when Caspian and Peter almost brought back the person who kept Aslan at bay for 100 years (trying not to give a possible spoiler). The actor who played King Miraz was very convincing as being evil (as is his general). Also a longer movie-- with previews, my 8:00PM show did not get out until 10:25 or so. The young actor playing Caspian was good, and maybe he and Susan become a love interest (although she says she will not come back to Narnia again...).. I never read the CS Lewis books, I guess I will be surprised when the next one comes out in 2010..

As a side note, Disney is running a full Wall-E preview during the movie.

Well, we didn't go see it this weekend, I didn't ever get a chance to reread the book. Hopefully I'll get that done here soon and we'll go see it. Next weekend is out because we're going down to FL to help my sister pack for their move.

We went to see it Saturday night. It's a great movie! I don't remember the book; I know I read it when I was a kid but I think I only read it once or twice. I liked the Prince Caspian character, but I liked King Peter more. He was very cool in this movie! I think it was very well done and I really enjoyed it. My son also enjoyed it; he's 8 and he didn't get scared or anything.

Wow, now I can't wait for the DVD!  I won't take Alex because of the length and because of the scary parts.

Too bad we will miss the Wall*E preview.  Alex can't wait for that one.
