| | Day 3: Day of No Waiting & Lots of Fun Sunday, September 7th After our eventful night on Saturday we decided to take it nice and easy today since it would be a full day at the Magic Kingdom with extra magic hours that night. Since we were changing rooms we had to be out of ours by 11am and we couldn’t check into our new room until 3pm. They were transferring our luggage for us, we just had to have it all together. However, after remembering about Elaine’s horror with the luggage service I wasn't taking any chances not having Kyan’s Cinderella dress for the meal tonight so she decided to wear it to the park for the day and change later into regular clothes. We arrived at the Magic Kingdom at 10:30am and we walked onto Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin. After that Kyan wanted to ride Space Mt., but Troy thought she was still to small for that since the seats are individual. When we tried explaining that to her she got mad and said she had rode it before. So, I asked her to show me the ride that was “Space Mt”. It ended up being the TTA. So we all climbed aboard the TTA and threw our hands up and yelled, “Whee!” when we went into the actually Space Mt part. When we got off the TTA we met up with Troy’s sister, brother-in-law and niece. So we all rode Buzz together and while the boys went and done Space Mt. All us girls went and rode the newly dubbed “Space Mt” TTA. Once we are regrouped Troy tells me how he saw a trash can measuring himself at Space Mt and crying because he wasn’t tall enough. I was so excited and yelled, “That’s Push” and Deb and I took the kids off to find Push. He is so cute and walked up to Kyan and was calling her Cinderella and when we took the picture he yelled, “Cheeeese!” I did happen to notice the person controlling him but I refused to take a picture or bring attention to him. I figured it would ruin the magic.
After meeting Push we headed over to the Carousel, Snow White, It’s a Small World, and Peter Pan which we had fast passes for. After Pan, the in-laws had lunch reservations at the castle so we headed off to find some lunch for ourselves. We ended up back at Pecos Bill’s because the kid’s were wanting cheese fries. We order chili cheese fries & cheese fries as snack credits and one burger kid’s meal and one bacon double meal for adults with carrot cake. Total for lunch was $25.61
After lunch we headed over to do Pirates but noticed Capt. Hook and Mr. Smee so we waited in line to meet them. However when it was our turn to meet them Kyan became horribly afraid of Capt. Hook and refused to allow him to get close to her. I mean she had a fit and scaled up my body. After signing the books, Capt. Hook walked off and I thought we had upset him. But he then picked a flower and started to bring it over to Kyan. But she ran off to Troy this time. Well Capt. Hook was mad. He threw down the flower and stomped it with his foot into the ground. The CM acting as the character handler said, “ See Capt. Hook tried to do something nice and he gets treated like this” So, I looked at Kyan and told her to just tell Capt. Hook “Tick Tock!” That mad Hook mad and he pointed his finger at me and shot me that look. Needless to say we didn’t get a group picture with Capt. Hook. He was upset. So to make everyone happy again we went on Pirates of the Caribbean. After that we met up with the in-laws and rode Splash Mt & Big Thunder Mt. Now it was getting close to time for us to leave to get over early to the Grand Floridian for dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare. So we decided to board the train at Frontierland and get off at the front gates. However, we waited and waited and waited for about 15 minutes. I finally got upset and told Troy lets walk it. So, we take off. (Later I find out that it left a few minutes later) As Troy is unclipping the stroller he went and clipped his finger like Trey’s had been done the night before. Luckily there was no blood this time, he just pinched his fingernail. But I had to listen to him pout the whole way to the Grand Floridian. So far the day had been great we had rode a bunch of rides with hardly any wait. The longest we had to wait was 10 minutes and that was to meet Capt. Hook. When we arrive at the GF, I took the kids to freshen up in the bathroom while Troy tries to call our hotel about our new room number. He was never able to speak to someone they kept transferring his call. Kyan finally got upset with her father and demanded for him to come so she can meet Cinderella. We were seated immediately among check-in which was nice. During dinner we met Cinderella, Prince Charming, Anastasia, Drizella, & lady Tremaine. This meal was so-so. Some of the food on the buffet was a little different but we found plenty to fill us up. We had strawberry soup, salad, chicken marsala, mashed potatoes, stir fried rice with sausage, and a roll. The buffet was setup by the food being from a certain country. I didn’t notice that but Troy told me when I got back to the table. Dessert was splendid with a lovely chocolate mousse and key lime pie. I also tried some ice cream with the strawberry soup drizzled over it as suggested by our waiter. The kid’s selection was the type kid’s meal, chicken tenders, pizza, mac & cheese, & corn.

The characters during the meal was a hoot, Lady Tremaine was just terrifically wicked. Her attitude and poise reminded me so much of my own stepmother and I couldn't resist getting a picture with her. I told her how she reminded me of my own stepmother and she commented, “ I am sure she is just lovely.” I couldn’t resist, “Oh yes, she is just as wicked as you are.” Which brought a smiled to her face. She also went on and on about the children’s autograph books and how much she loved them. Anastasia was hilarious and had to look at Drizella’s picture and commented how much fatter she was than her. It was a hoot. Then as we were finishing dessert we heard this horrific sound that would shatter glass. It was Anastasia singing “Sing Sweet Nightingale” Oh my goodness, it was so shrill and loud and off key. The children just loved it and she got a thunderous applause. Total free dining for the meal was $95.81

After dinner we headed back into the Magic Kingdom, except Troy, he had to go back to the hotel and recheck in. We met back up with the in-laws and went on Haunted Mansion, POTC, Magic Carpets, and the Jungle Cruise. Then Troy met back up with us and we went into Toontown but Goofy’s roller coaster was down, so we had time to visit Minnie’s house. Then we made our way to the Teacups, Mickey’s Philharmagic, Winnie the Pooh, & the Carousel. It was then time to say goodnight to Emma and her parents. However we made our way over to Splash Mt, and Big Thunder Mt were we used fast passes that was stamped with the time 1-2pm. This was the first time a cast member has ever commented about the time. Keep in mind it was only 10:30. He said, “ You are a little late.” I smiled and said, “Yes, we had arrangements that got in the way.” He said, “But you are almost twelve hours late.” My response was, “No, we are only close to 9 maybe 10 hours late.” He let us go on the ride. It was then that mommy and daddy said enough we need to go back to the hotel. We was bushed and I wanted to see the new room.

| Sounds like a good time! I can't believe ya'll didn't really have any waits! Lady Tremaine does look wickedly evil and Anastasia and Drizzilla, too funny! I love that last pic with the fireworks over Toon Town. Strawberry soup? Was it good? Was it more dessert type or actual soup?

| The soup was good. It was a soup, chilled. You can eat it as soup or as our waiter suggested poured over ice cream. Either way it was yummy.
