| | I got back from the "Happiest Place on Earth" Sunday night, it of course was a wonderful weekend. I was surprised at how fast Halloween goes out and Christmas comes in. I took photos of the Christmas things so everyone can get even more excited for the Holiday trips, they are posted!! Our trip started Saturday Morning, we met our friends at the gate, I being a freak, made everybody show up at 7:15, Disney opened at 8. Like I said before, Disney mornings are the best, get there early!!! We had the park to ourselves Saturday Morning until about 11:00. Our friends did not want to get Park Hoppers so we stayed at Disneyland all day, we decided to cancel the Chip and Dale Breakfast since the Manorial is down and our friends didn't get Park Hoppers. I collected fastpasses all morning our friends thought I was weird until the afternoon when we started using the passes then I was so cool!!! My husband and James love the Buzz Lightyear ride, we went on that ride about 10 times on Saturday. My son did Indian Jones for the first time, this is a milestone in our family, he said he will not do it again. We ended the night early, thanks to your tips we did the Taxi to and from the Marriott on Convention Center, it was $8.00 tip included, well worth it, I am liking the Taxi more and more, the shuttle was $3.00 per adult? Sunday, again, I made the family get to the park before it opened. We did the first hour at Disneyland, space mountain, buzz again. I found out later, they were passing out those dream fastpasses that morning at Autopia, we missed it, we didn't drive the cars that morning Can somebody tell me more about the dream fastpass? We spent the rest of the day at California Adventure, I like this side more and more. The Characters are easier to see and less crowded. My son is getting bigger so he can do more rides. He went on the Hollywood Towers, he liked his legs going up when he went down, but like Indian Jones, he would not do it again!! He likes fast things and wanted to do California Scream', not big enough for this, even with Heelys, next time if he eats his veggies!!! We did Monsters Inc for the first time, very fun. The Marriott was fine. The big downer was $18.00 a day for parking. We did walk back from the park one night, not a terrible walk. We ate at the place by Pirates, across from Indiana for breakfast (forgot name) the food ok, I like sitting by the water. Lunch at the Mexican restaurant by Thunder, I know, the reviews are bad, it was just easy at the time, the kid meals at this place just don't work, they changed the tacos for the kids, what happened to the Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets? Dinner at the bread factory in California Adventure, this was the only reason we went to this side on Saturday(after our friends left), I love this place!! We ate breakfast Sunday morning at the place by where the Training Academy/old Club Buzz, it was ok, James liked the french toast sticks. | |
