So before I get started I have to let everyone know a few things....when we decided not to go I had cancelled all of our Priority Seatings and forgot to try for new ones when we did decide to go...don't feel sad we still had a grand trip!  And not a lot of shows were seen...kids wanted to ride the rides and so that is what we did!!

So here we go.....

Day One (friday)

We were up at 2:30 in the am and on the road by 3:30!!  It was not a bad drive about 4 hours with a stop included.  (we live in vegas).  So we are at the park right when it opens...by the time we parked and got on the tram and all that jazz.

So we run to Fantasyland and my kiddos are in heaven!  Peter Pan was packed already....so we headed for Pinnochio's Daring Journey followed by Snow Whites Scary Adventure, Dumbo, the Tea cups and Alice in Wonderland.  (All of these rides only had a 5 minute wait....it was perfect!!  Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was packed as well!

Then it was off to Tomorrowland!  Buzz light year was next.  My kids love this ride.  So as a family we rode this one and then I took the 3 older kids to space mountain.  Super!!!  Only a 10 minute wait....so we rode once and then did a fastpass for a little later!!  While we did this Nathan took our youngest to do buzz a few more times!!  They were thrilled!!!  (hubby hates coasters)!!

On our way to New Oreleans Square we detoured to toon town and rode gadget's go-coaster!!  This one is loved by all!!  Especially hubby and the youngest...Camden!

So we get to Pirates and it is CLOSED!!!!  We were crushed!!!  So we went and rode Big Thunder Mountain.  While I was on this with the older kids Nathan took Camden to Santa's reindeer round-up.  The met with Santa and had some special one on one time with Pluto.  Then it was back to pirates still not opened.  So we walked over to the many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh!  And then it was time to use our fastpass for space mountain so again while we did that buzz lightyear was seen!!

One more time back to pirates....yes it was open but the wait was the longest that we had experienced a 45 minute wait....but it went fast!!  It was great!!  My kids were so excited to find Captain Jack Sparrow (for mom it would have been better to have Johnny Depp himself)....they loved Davy Jones and Barbossa!  It was great!!

By now it was 1:00 and we were all a bit tired and starving!!  So we went to Hubby's favorite place to eat....it is in frontierland and I forget the name of it....chicken fingers and fries, mozzerella sticks and fish and chips were ordered!!  IT was perfect for everyone!!  Now my sister and her family had made it to the park...so we rushed to thefront gates to meet them!

First stop fantasyland were we rode Alice in Wonderland again and while in line saw Jason Biggs from the American Pie Movies!  (He was the one with the pie in the first one)  Good looking guy!  Not so much on tv but in person not bad!!  Okay after that is was back to toon town for gadgets coaster again....on the way out we hit parede traffic (what a nightmare) but we made it to the Tea cups....no line because everyone was watching the parede....so we hopped right on!  Then we walked through frontierland and met Jesse...the kids loved her!!

By this time we were so beat and it was only 5:00!!!  We decided to head to the hotel and check in...rest our tired "soles" and get some cheap dinner!!

So at 7:30 it was time to see what California Adventure had in store for us.  The park was empty!!!  So the first stop was Monster's Inc.  Cute ride!!!  Then it was off to bug's land for the kids (they were so tired)  2 of mine fell asleep.  We did everything there it was great!  So it was off to Tower of Terror!!  10 minute wait...what a great ride!!!  This was my first time on it!!!  I screamed the entire time but it was great!!!  We came off and wanted to go again.  But we had more to see and not a lot of time.  So we headed to the other end of the park and the kids did Mulhulland Madness like 3 times in a row...there was absolutely no wait for this ride.!!!

And last but certainly not least was California Screamin'!  I love coasters but was scared out of my mind!!  Let me just say that it is by far one of the best roller coasters!!  I absolutely loved it!!  So I think now the 2 that are my favorites are Callifornia Screamin and the Tower of Terror!!

Now it is 10:00 and the park is closed.  We were bummed...could have stayed there and rode those 2 rides over and over again for the rest of the night.

We were going to head to Disney but hit a snag...somehow I injured my foot and was having a hard time walking...I was in pain and could not move!!  So we headed to the hotel for some much needed sleep!!

I forgot to mention...lots of snacking this day the favorites are teh pineapple spears and pickles  tons were eatin' during the entire trip!!

Day Two (saturday)

So today grandma and grandpa are with us along with great grandma.  The whole gang is here 13 total.  It was an early day.  Had my sister not knocked on our door this morning we would have slept the day away!

So we were at the park and ready to party at 8:00 and it was off to FantasyLand!!  Are you wondering how my foot feels today...hurts like heck and I can barely walk!  I make it to fantasyland and my mom gave me one of her inserts for my shoe...really helped but I was still in pain!!

So today was much like the day before...we did do Peter Pan today what a magical ride!!!  Then it was off to Mr.Toad's, and Dumbo...while we were here my husband took everyone's tickets and went and hit the space mountain fast pass for us.  Not a long wait...we could use them at 9:30!  so we finished fantasyland...pinnochio and snow white.

Off to Buzz light year!  then space mountain!  I think we may have done it twice I can not remember!!  so at 10:50 we realize that another Jedi training is getting ready to start in 30 minutes or so.  So we diecided to sit with our kids in the front row.  They were all chosen to be Jedi's!!  It was so cool!!  Camden our youngest started to cry when he was up there so they brought him back to us!   But the other 3 were so cute!!!  While we were here the rest of our crew went to Toon Town to fast pass roger rabbit!  They missed it but oh well....it was well worth the wait!!  We are huge star wars fans!!

We headed over to toon town and rode gadgets coaster while we waited for our fast pass to come up...then it was off to Roger Rabbit!!  What a cute ride!!

Off to FrontierLand for Big Thunder Mountain while we were there Nathan went to fast pass splash mountain!!  Then it was off to Pirates still cool the second time!!  We walked around for a bit snacking and taking in the sights...then it was off to splash mountain...I skipped it because I wasn't willing to get wet...it was a tad windy!!  Time for dinner...everyone did there own thing...we decided to stay another day so we went to guest services and got our tickets upgraded.

We went to our hotel and I soaked my tired tootsies in the tub!!!

So at 7:30 we all headed back to California Adventure...a little more crowded tonight but not much!  My foot was killing me by this time so we had to get a wheelchair!!  It was awfull!!  The first stop was Soarin' over Callifornia...I stayed out with the kids who were not tall enough...a few of us took them to Bug's Land....they had fun again!!

Then it was off to Tower of Terror...we rode this 2 times in a row!!  so much fun!!!  While we did this my husband took the kids who weren't tall enought into the Disney Animation Theater...they waited there listening to music and getting warmed up...he said that there was no one there.  We dropped our 6 year old off after the TOT (he loved it by the way)  We were going to California Screamin...While we all did that he took the kids to chat with crush!!  He said there were only like 7 people in there at 9:30!!  It was perefect he said.  THen they did everything else in there...beast's library and ursela's grotto...they had a ton of fun!!

So another huge day and I was beat...my foot was killing me and I had been non stop for 2 days now...could I handle sunday???

Day Three (sunday)

So we were up and out by 7:30.  We checked out of the hotel and headed over for our last day of disney fun.  We were alone everyone else in our group was slow pokin' it today.  We headed to Tomorrowland.  Teh Astro Orbitor was ridin'.  And then it was star tours for the older kids.  Cam is not quite tall enough and that is a huge let down ofr him...as he is the biggest fan of star wars...so he and i did buzz!!  and then he insisted on the astro orbitor again so I did this with him.  Then it was time for our last space mountain of the trip....it was great as usual!!  this is defiantely a fav!!!

Half ofo our group met up with us by this time they took the little kids to do dumbo one more time while we went to fast pass Indiana Jones.  While there we waited and waited for them so we decided to to Tarzan's treehouse.  When they got to us we rode jungle cruise and by that time everyone was together again.  So we did Indiana Jones.  Great ride!!

We all wanted to head over to California and on the way there we had a major blow out!  We all decided to go our seperate ways for the rest of the trip!!  Kind of a bummer but what can you do.  So our family of 6 decided to make the most of it...We needed a break so we rode the disneyland railroad...something I don't ever recall doing.  It was a neat experience!

Then it was off to California... we got there just in time for the high school musical pep rally.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids really enjoyed it!!  We decided to eat at the Taste Pilots Grill.  It wasn't bad at all.  Really good food actually!!

Then it was time for the rest of us to meet with crush!  This was so much fun!  Then we went to the Beast's Library and found out that mom is most like Cinderella!!!  We sang the Bare nessecities in Ursela's Grotto.  Then it was time for one last ride on the TOT!!!  I had my 3 older kids and we were all in the front row!!!  IT was a blast!!!

By now it was 4:00 and my foot was throbbing...definately time to go!!

We didn't get to do California Screamin' again...but that is okay!!  Next time!!

We made it home by 8:30 and did not get up until 8:30 this morning!!  it was a ton of fun...and as soon as I can I will post the pictures!!!

We did meet a few charecters and the kids loved it!!  Sorry it is so long...I hope that you all enjoy it!!

Andrea -

Great trip report - and never worry - a trip report can NEVER be too long!  We all love reading these.

The place you ate in Frontierland.  Was that the Stage Door Cafe?  It sounds like their menu, and since we are planning on doing the Billy show and eating there, it is nice to hear the food is good.

How is your foot today?  Are you planning on going to the doctor?  I sure hope it gets better!

Buzz is one of Alex's favorites too.  We do that ride over and over when there.  Did you not do Small World?

I am so glad you were able to go, and had a great time.  After hearing what you have to say about Crush, I may have to fit that into our days in a few weeks.

Thanks again for the wonderful trip report.

I sure hope your foot gets better soon, and can't wait to see the pictures!

Wow!  Awesome!!  Thanks for so much info!  Okay - Beast's library, Crush, Ursula's Grotto - more details on this, we haven't done this - where, what....lol...

So what's going on with your foot?  Did you go to the dr.?  Is it okay?  The family blow-out - cranky folks from not enough rest?

So glad to hear you had so much fun!!!  Pickle spears - where?  Morgan's favorite food category...lol!!!  We had them with sandwiches at Carnation Cafe and they gave us extra because she just loved them so much!

I'm so glad you got to go and it was so magical for you!  Now was this a surprise for the kids?  What was their reaction?

Shawna...all of that stuff, Turtle talk with Crush, Ursella's Grotto, and the Beasts Library are in the  Disney Animation Theater.  Everyone should make time for this!!  I wasn't too into it...but once I was in there is was the best!!  Crush was awesome...the kiddos can sit right up front...and he talks to them and the adults!  Really really worth it!

The place we kept returning for pickles was right by the jungle cruise.  They were whole pickles not spears but really good I swear we ate about 30!!    they were I think 2.50 each!!

My foot...no doctor yet...I have a friend who specializes in feet and he is going to make a house call tonight...if he says it is okay then I have another friend who is a chiropractor and he will adjust my foot...it may just be out of whack!!  So I will know more tonight!!  thanks for the concern everyone!!

As far as a small world...the line was always soo long...we never did it....maybe next trip!!

The kranky adults...yes I believe it was lack of sleep!!  I felt bad for my kids who kept asking where grandma and grandpa and their aunt and uncle were.  Oh well!!

Yes Leanne I believe that it was the stagedoor cafe or stagedoor something or other.  Really expensive but we love the food!!  Very good!  And there is always a ton!  For the 6 of us we got 2 orders of chicken fingers one order of fish and chips and one order of mozerella sticks.  We had a ton leftover and just took it with us...the kids ate it about an hour later.

Any other questions?

I must say that I loved California Adventure!!!  Tower of Terror and California Screamin are my favs!!!!

A dream is a wish your heart makes!!

Shawna - you can get the pickles at any fruit cart too!  On Main Street (across from Carnation) in Critter Country in front of Splash Mountain (the drop, not the line entrance), Adventureland as Andrea said and also in California Adventure near Flik's Fun Faire!
