| Has anyone on the forum been to Legoland? We just ended up with an xtra day in S. California because Delta changed our flights in Feb - and we thought we might try this park Miss G is 5, and it looks like the rides are just about her speed. Can anyone give me scoop on best days to go, rides not to miss, how long you need in the park, etc?
Thanks for any replies!

| Thanks Sharon - any more specifics about why your family loves Legoland? How long do you spend there? What rides are NOT to miss?

| | Sorry I was so tired that day! We love Legoland because the rides are rollercosters are made for youger kids so they really have a great time. There were only 2 or 3 rides I think that were too big for Jonathan when he was 4. He's 5 now. The food is actully really good in the park. They have the most amazing Lego city to look at. They did New York, San Francisco, D.C. and so much more. It'll take an hour to look at all of that alone. Also, they have a boat ride that takes you on another side of that city and they tell you more about it like the Big Ben clock that was bulit. It's amazing. There is a childrend play area with water fun and a little playground too. Best of all...no characters. LOL! Characters freak out my son so Legoland is a nice safe place to go. Hope that helped and wasn't too late. |

| | Just be sure to check their schedule before you go. Last time we looked, Legoland wasn't open everyday, like Disneyland and other theme parks. |

| | Great, now I have another place I really want to take Morgan. Everything is different through a child's eyes! |

| We live pretty close to Legoland, so we had passes for a year. Haven't been in about 4 years though. My girls are short for their age and a lot of the rides go by height. Rose couln't go on a lot of them by herself even though she was perfectly capable. It's a really fun place, lots and lots to explore! Don't miss the "apple fries"! They have these huge play areas placed around the park. Lets the kiddies blow off some energy if you've been standing in lines all day. There's a trojan horse ride for the little ones. They get strapped on a horse and go teetering through the forest. That was a ride that Rose went on over and over!
