Hi there!

We got my son the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playset for Christmas. He loves it! Unfortunately, it's not the sturdiest toy out there. And last night, his "Toodles" accessory was broken. I would like to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement part if possible -- but can't find their contact information anywhere on the web! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Mouseguy!  Welcome to the boards!  We bought the same toy for our 2 year old for Christmas and it's a huge hit, but you're right - not the best made.  Where did you buy it?  I'd start there and see if they can help you.  We got ours through an Ebayer because they were all gone, so if it were me, I'd probably try Toys R Us to see if they could get me manufacturer info.

We got ours at Wal-Mart. It was tough to find! Huge demand this year! But, honestly, compared to my 3 yr old's Fisher Price toys it really is a very, very cheaply made product. Nothing stays together, and the plastic even feels cheap.

He loves it though, and was upset when his part broke. Unfortunately, I can't find Character Direct Ltd's contact info anywhere. Which is surprising -- the Disney license is huge!

I know, it was terrible trying to find them - we paid way too much but that's one of only 2 things she asked for - and the reaction on Christmas was well worth it!  I'm really disappointed in the quality as well, it's pretty pathetic and the slide won't stay on at all!!!  Or the yellow room part for the other side!!  How many of the characters did you get?  Have you noticed that they don't do a lot of talking unless they're with the RIGHT character they came with?  A couple of the characters have barked in their own voices in Pluto's spot - lol, kind of funny.

Go back to Wal-Mart and ask them to exchange the part.  They're still decent on customer service.  If you're nice but firm about it, they'll take care of it.  For the money you paid, insist on it!

Wal-Mart will exchange a single part? Huh... thought I'd have to return the whole thing.

We only got one extra pack of characters (Goofy and Cowboy Donald) mainly due to the fact that we thought they were so poorly made. This toy really is like something out of the '70s. I'd have expected something much better for such a high profile kid's show.

And yes, Donald barks and Goofy sounds a little like Minnie...

Have you thought about contacting Disney directly?

If this is the item I think it is, the Disney Store also sold it - so you might want to give them a call.

Also, do you still have the box?  Usually the box or directions will have some sort of contact information.

Welcome to the DML message boards MouseGuy (love the name), I wish I could be of more help!

Yes, to keep customers happy sometimes they will exchange a part and take care of the rest themselves between their store and their distributor, whomever THEY got it from.  Likely ANOTHER middle man before the manufacturer.

I didn't see them at the Disney store at all - in person or on-line - when I was trying to find one for Morgan.  Is it the shopping site Leanne?  Let me know because I'm still trying to find the last set of characters (long story, there was a mix-up in our shipment and we got a duplicate but since it includes Minnie I'm keeping it in case she goes missing - can't have that, you know!)

If your son likes the characters - they are better made than the Clubhouse - Morgan pretty much carries those around with her non-stop.

Shawna - our Disney Store had the clubhouse.  Alex really wanted it when he saw it.  Is it possible that there are TWO clubhouses?  I should have looked at the picture of the one you bought on ebay!

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure there's only one.
