| Okay, well, we got to the park RIGHT at 9 am (LOVE that short walk to Disney from HoJo's!!) after stopping at Mimi's for coffee. Okay, before I really get into this, I'm going to give you the cast of my trip.......Jacob, my roommate; Michael, my roommate's dad; Rhonda, my roommate's mom. Now that's taken care of I can use their names (probably just initials even) and everyone will know who I'm talking about. Well, first ride of the day, Space Mountain!! WOW, that's all I can say about it WOW!! I LOVE the new climb!! Not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't ridden but it was awesome! After that was Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (see my pic at http://disneyland.com/buzzphotos with CODE NUMBER: 505B4148E4026C09144A1233F53780D5) and Star Tours. We then headed over to Peter Pan's Flight and since we wouldn't have time to ride Pirates and make our reservations for Blue Bayou so we just walked around New Orleans Square until it was time to eat. Let me tell you, Blue Bayou was PERFECT!! Rhonda couldn't get over the atmostphere of it and then they brought out the food and we were in heaven. We all ordered the Monte Cristo, actually, the guys ordered it and we split the meals and we still ended up with almost a half of a sandwich left over! We rode Pirates after lunch, then thought about Splash Mountain but a 75 minute wait wasn't cool so we rode Winnie the Pooh and I got Eeyore's autograph and a pic. From there we rode Indiana Jones and then Jungle Cruise. While Michael and Rhonda got ice cream, Jake and I went crazy (okay, I went crazy) getting pressed pennies and quarters and I have one book filled up and starting a second one. Jake's parents were tired so they went to rest at the hotel and Jake and I cruised on over to CA. We ended up just walking around, going to Chips and Dips (good chicken strips!) and watched empty cars go over and over on Screamin' (crossing my fingers that it will open in the next two days!). At around 6 Jake and I headed back to the hotel for a beer and to collect Rhonda and Michael. We headed back to Disneyland to hit up some rides during the parade. Those rides were Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and Matterhorn Bobsleds. All in all, we had a LOVELY day and we're excited to start tomorrow! Right now we're waiting on pizza, having a few beers, and watching Lost.
Rhonda and Michael bought me a new lanyard, Jake bought me the big medal thingy that hangs off of lanyards but for the most part we're waiting to get a good idea of what all we reallly want before we start spending money. And like I said yesterday, if I'm not too tired I'll write another report. I'm afraid I might not be up to it, I think I pulled something in my lower back because it was KILLING me tonight. I took some asprin so hopefully I'll be okay tomorrow. Talk to ya'll then! For day 3, click here: http://www.disneymouselinks.com/Forums/Topic4042-4-1.aspx
