| lenny the fly (8/28/2006) does anyone no where he lives? or state or city? my 5 yr old son wont stop asking hahaAll 3 actors are Canadian. Lisa J. Lennox (Deedee) is from Mississauga (Toronto suburb) Ontario, Jonathon Wexler (Moe) is from London Ontario and Chad McNamara (Rooney) is from Ottawa Ontario. They presently work in Toronto (the show is filmed at CBC Studios in Toronto) and I would assume that they all currently live in Toronto as well.

| So...what's your point? Rock Hudson was homosexual and the girls swooned over him! I'm sure both of the boys are very cute (from what I've heard on this board) and they must be very flattered to have such loyal fans no matter what their lifestyles are.

| | Not every actor who appeared on Queer as Folk is actually gay, even though it is a show about homosexuality. Just because an actor plays something on a fictional show, (unless the actor comes forward and states they are, which to my knowledge none of the doodlebops have) doesn't mean they actually are! It's called acting! Plus, it wouldn't matter. They're still the doodlebops and the kids love them! |

| No offense, but that boy is just about as gay as they come. You can see it in his mannerisms and speech. I love him just the same...he always seems really enthusiastic about the dialog and that comes across to kids.

| | It's never okay to assume or discuss a person's private life without their knowledge - whether a public personality or not. Judging a person or categorizing them based on their mannerisms isn't appropriate either and can be very harmful. It's a very personal issue and I'm just a little sensitive to these types of things - I had a friend who WASN'T, people labelled him, the label wouldn't go away, and he committed suicide. Now I also have several gay friends and I can assure you that they don't go around discussing our mannerisms and sex lives. They don't all display "gayish mannerisms" either. Lots of men seem to be when they're in the kid industry but people are usually wrong when they assume based on lack of knowledge. I just love that my daughter enjoys them - and so many of the other kids on this website! Be kids and enjoy! If you love Moe or Rooney and want to swoon over them, good for you! That's good enough for me! I hope they make a huge fortune! |
