The Pirates and Princess party was/is a lot of fun! I'm curious too if Jack Sparrow will mingle once this party event is over.

Elaine I hope so. They just can't keep him hidden.  It would be neat if they would do a character dining with a pirate theme.  That would be so neat and Trey would love it.  I wish that they offered the P/P this summer but it seems to be seasonal for now.

Wow what a lovely time you had, I love trip reports as it will be a while before I visit any Disney resort so I have to get my fix by reading up on others exciting holidays.  We do have a legoland in the UK though which is suppose to be quite good so when Cullen is walking (not too far away now) we might make a trip there.  Just makes it a little easier that when we let him out of the stroller for a bit of exercise he doesn't get all wet and mucky crawling around.

Wow Anna - thanks for letting me know those are standard rooms!  I have always thought those rooms were in the perfect location.  Great view, and quiet!  I will remember that next time we stay there.

The Animation Building at DCA is one of my favorite places.  I absolutely love this!  We will probably do Crush, but I can't promise anything due to time constraints.  With Alex now wanting to do Aladdin, and several new rides, I am not sure what is going to happen.  This will for sure be a different type trip for us!  And I insist on Billy Hill this time.

Anna - do you have the Day Tripper stroller?  That is the Maclaren we have, and I am very concerned about Alex.  Oh sure he still fits, it isn't tight, but his height and long legs sure make it look like he is uncomfortable.

Kirsten - we all live for trip reports!  Aren't they great!

Oh Elaine - I almost forgot.  From your description of the Nemo ride, it does sound like ours will be completely different.  Ours is basically a redo of the old sub ride.  Yours isn't like that at WDW is it?

The Legoland in the UK is in Windsor - that's what it says on the T-shirt that I bought my nephew! Maybe not more than a train ride for you Kirsten? Could you do it as a day trip?

Leanne - I'm not sure what our MacLaren was..my sister in Nashville as already taken control - so I can't even go look it up! LOL! Miss G was getting to the point when we went to Washington DC last year that it was creaking along as she rode in it...getting close to the weight limit which was 45 lbs I think.

yep Lego land is in Windsor, just near one of the Queens houses.  Would take us about an hour and a half to drive there.  So yes we would do it as a day trip.  Cullen took a couple of steps today, he is 1 tomorrow so his Grandma and Grandpa have been encouraging him to walk.  So we may get to go sooner than I thought.  My hubby just asked what I was up to and I told him that I was telling everyone that because he was sooo mean and wouldn't let me go to Disneyland I was telling you all that I was going to have to go to Legoland instead.

Anna - I LOVED reading your trip report just now!  Talk about reliving everything!  What a perfect day for me!

Grand Californian:  I am loving your detail on the hotel and we are considering this for October now - because of you...

Storytellers: Not sure why this is a hot button for some folks.  We did enjoy in October, although Morgan did not but that was because she was getting sick and they never did any of the get up and dance stuff.  Yesterday when we were there - they DID!!!  Morgan was in heaven - with the bears, she LOVES bears!!!  Dale and Chip were both fantastic, the raccoon (what's his name?) was great, and the Lion King Monkey (is it Rafiki?) was awesome although both Mollie and Morgan didn't care much for him.  I for one was so pleased at the fruits at the buffet - thank goodness - this is the BEST restaurant in the park for fruits.  Now eggs - thank GOD we finally have a restaurant serving plain scrambled eggs - no chives, no parsley - that is so important for picky kids!!!  Great stuff for the adults too and my 5 year old nephew even tried the salmon and LOVED it!!!  PLUS - if you're from the South, you'll be pleased to see great biscuits and gravy as well as pork chops!  I promise to do a review for this trip and get the one from October to you as well Leanne.

DCA Highlights:  How awesome was your experience!!!  Glad you mentioned age range, Mollie and Morgan would have been our 2 that may have enjoyed this, but I think they may be a little young to really interact.  We had meant to hit this one but didn't get time.

Ariel’s Grotto: We did this too and it made the trip for us - amazing!!!  Some disappointments but we had such a fantastic time.  This restaurant sure still is in need of improvements though!!!  Both girls were in heaven and had a great time - as did the baby!  Now, the mac & cheese with the octodog was disgusting.  Everything except the fish crackers.  I don't know WHAT kind of hot dogs they are using but ewww!!!  Not even the traditional color!  The little girl at the table next to us was freaked out by the shape and started screaming, her parents had to hide it and cut it up away from her.  The mac & cheese - yuck!  I wouldn't even have eaten that stuff!  Morgan ate my fish!

I loved reading all your experiences Anna!  My 7 year old nephew also loved Space Mountain and we did as well - we haven't been on it since the last changes so that was neat.  Did Miss G try California Screamin'?  That was a huge hit with our nephew and a collection of kids we met going on it as well.

Pins - lol!!!  We collect them for Morgan and I think it's a fabulous momento of your trip.  Morgan picks out what color "necklace" she wants and then we help her with what pins she might like until she chooses the ones she wants to wear.  We also do not trade and it's just a fun thing for around the park or at home.  When she's older if she wants to, they're hers - BUT I'd wish she didn't so she has a treasure for when she's older.

Hungry Bear was shut down when we were there too.  Pooh ride was almost walk on each time!
