| I have a question for ya'll. Does Bambi actually get shot by the hunters? My DH says he does, that he gets shot in mid-air. I say he doesn't or there would've been blood. When I said to my DH that if he's shot, then why isn't he bleeding or limping he replied, "Because he's the young prince.". What do ya'll say?

| | Me too, I hate the Disney movies that kill off the moms - I mean, I love the movies but especially after becoming a mom that really bothers me now!!! |

| | I think I may know a Disney fact. Oh no, I might be converting. I think I might have read somewhere that the moms dying had something to do with Walt's mom. I can't remeber if she died or not. Grrr.... I am going to have to find the whole story now. Maybe, I'm not a help. But, hey the dad died in The Lion King. |

| | Lol Sarahanne, yippee, a convert!!! See if you can find anything. Man, I haven't watched the Lion King in a long time, I had forgotten about that. It's so strange to watch things again or think of them again (even if you don't have time to watch) after becoming a mom. I see things differently now, a lot of the things I know my thoughts BEFORE Morgan and how sad they were but now the mom dying has a profound effect on how I feel about a movie!!! |

| | Shawna, it's very true that becoming a mom changes everything. When Linnea was just about a month old she was sleeping next to me in our bed while I was watching Tarzan. I just cried and cried that this little baby had lost both parents. I blamed it on my raging hormones, but I still get very weepy whenever the parent/child bond is in danger.

| | OMG me too - I did a terrible thing and watched the news the other day (which I know better than to do - that or court tv) while she was sleeping and there was a story on Jessica Lunsford and John Cooey and the case/trial/etc. I nearly woke her up because I had to grab her and hold her...and was crying.... |
