I slept in a bit on day two. I didn't get up until 7:00am. I had a little time before the kids woke up to write down my thoughts on the day before. Once we were all up, we went to find a cheaper breakfast than La Brea. It had been good, but pricey. I found a Burger King and all was fine.

I decided to rent a stroller as my back could not take another night of carrying Molly. Stroller rental is $10. They gave me my receipt in case my stroller went off without me. With the receipt, I could just get another stroller. I also found out its ok to take the strollers across to DCA, just not to Downtown Disney.

Now, with stroller in hand, off we went to Peter Pan. Molly loves Peter Pan and was super excited to ride this ride. The line was rather long, but moved quickly. Soon we were flying over London. Gabriel loved it. Molly cried.

At this point I made note, Molly hates flying rides, rides with turns, rides with loud noises, and rides that do just about anything other than go in a straight line.

After Peter Pan, we went for apples. They seemed to work so well the day before I figured I'd try it again. Yep, everybody was happy while eating an apple.

We headed over to the teacups. Molly liked them the night before so it semed like a good bet she'd like them again. The line was rather short and I thought we were just going to be able to walk on. Unfortunatly, we were at the cut off. Alas, we had to wait for the next ride. So we watched the ride. As it was ending Molly was getting really excited, she really liked this ride. Once everyone was off we waited for the gates to open. They didn't. I was getting a little annoyed. I was hoping that the ride wasn't broken or anything. Then we see Goofy, Chip, and Dale go on the Teacups. I admit I was thinking oh now we get to watch these characters ride the ride while we wait. Instead, the Cast Member opened the gates. Molly and Gabe jumped into the cup with Goofy. That's right, we rode the Teacups with Goofy!  It was completely amazing. Molly was so impressed. Gabriel expalined how we were parked in Goofy's parking lot and how we had eaten in his restaurant. Once the ride ended we said good-bye. My children are now convinced we have a special friendship with Goofy.

Next we went over to Its a Small World. Almost no line at all. Molly really liked the ride. Toward the end she was singing along. Gabriel was impresed with the water. He kept trying to put his hands in the water and pull out change people had thrown in.

After Small World, he headed over to the Princess Faire. I was hoping the line wouldn't be to long. It was. So we went over and got a drink, pretzel, and two castle cookies to decorate. This was a very cool thing. For $5.50 you get a huge sugar cookie shaped like a castle, two containers of buttercream icing (pink and blue), a popcycle stick to decorate with, and a bag of candy medalions to stick on your castle. This is all in a decorative box. The kids spent about 30 minutes decorating their cookies. Molly then licked off all the icing and Gabe ate the cookies. We went down and colored for a bit and then watched the "Learn to Dance like a Prince or Princess" Show. We went over to the hair braiding area but the line was huge, thus we did not stay. At this point Molly was getting a little grouchy.

I was hoping to get a little more in before we left for lunch so we headed over to Toon Town. It was a crazy madhouse. Gabriel enjoyed getting into the various cars and pretending to drive. Molly seemed to enjoy shouting at strangers. There were lots of characters in Toon Town which cause the flow of traffic to be a mess as people stoped to look and oggle. We tried to get over to the restroom, but Molly didn't quite make it and had an accident. This signaled our need to leave for lunch.

As we left, I tried to return my stroller. I figured I would just get a new one when we returned. I waited by the return area and the Cast Member (Charlotte) seemed more interested in talking to another CM than taking the stroller. It was a bit annoying as now Molly was becomming very upset and she needed a new set of clothes. So, I just left the stroller. I fugured someone would get it back to where it belonged.

We went to McDonalds for some burgers and back to the hotel for naps. Molly slept for nearly three hours. She was still hard to get up and threw a whopper of a fit. WOW!

When we returned to the park we went to Disney California Adventure. I had to get a new stroller, but I had my receipt so I didn't have to pay for a new one. We had prioroty seating arrangements at Ariel's Grotto at 5:30 so we had a little time to kill. We headed over to Playhouse Disney. We stood in line for about 5 minutes and then we went in. We were in the front on a corner, not the best seats, but alright. Molly loved the show. She was singing and dancing. I think Gabe thought it was a little too childish for him.

Now we headed toward the Boardwalk. We stopped for a churro. The Mince family loves them some churros. We headed into Flick's Fair. We had time for just one ride. We went on Hiemlichs. It was a cute little train type ride that led us through the catapillers lunch. When we went through the watermelon, juice squirted on us. When we went through the animal crackers, we could smell the crackers. It was pretty cool. Both kids liked this ride.

Finally, time for the Princesses! We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Molly kept looking on the the pier sitting area and seeing the princesses. She was getting more and more excited. Finally, we were seated. We got our drinks and bread very quickly. I ordered the fish and chips, Gabriel the octodog and Mac and Cheeseand Molly the chicken strips. Our appatizer and food all came out at the same time. I was bit annoyed by that. The food was alright, a little bland. We were sitting right by where the princesses come out. We were the first table on their stops. I guess this also means we were the quickest stop. Anyway, the first princess to come out was Ariel. Molly didn't notice her come to the table because Molly was still looking outside for the princesses. When molly turned her head and saw Ariel, she was speechless. It was total shock. Ariel signed the autograph book, smiled for a picture and was gone. When she left, Molly exploded with giggles and smiles. She was so busy telling me Ariel had been to the table she missed Cinderella behind her. Cinderella is Molly's favorite. I told Molly to turn around and her jaw dropped. She jumped from the table and wrapped her arms around Cinderella. I don't think Cinderella knew how to take the attention. Gabe then used this opporunity to ask Cinderella to marry him. She declined citing that she was already married. In the picture I took of the kids with Cinderella, you can see how heartbroken Gabe is over her answer. Aurora come by next. Molly was wearing a homemade dress that had the princess on it. She had to show each princess where they were located on her dress. Belle came by. The kids had seen her the day before at Goofy's so she was old news to them. The last princess we saw was Snow White. Molly just kept feeling her dress. It has velvet on the bodice and is very soft. Gabriel was suprizingly quiet throught the meal. I think he as just nursering his broken heart after the Cinderella rejection. My only compliant was that our food came out too fast and then princess seemed very rushed. However, Molly's face was worth the $63.00.

We left the princess and headed for disater. Earlier at Flick's Fair Gabriel had seen the sprinkler area. The kids wanted to go back. We did. Only now, it was getting chilly. So the kids got soaked and cold. Of course, I didn't have any change of clothes for them. Molly just curled up on the stroller with her blankie and was quite comfortable. Gabe complained, and complained, and complained. We headed over the the Greeting for California store in hopes of finding a sweat suit for Gabe. They did not have anything for a boy. So while we were on that side of the park we went to the Monster's Inc. ride. No line. We walked right on. The kids liked the ride and it kept Gabe warm for a bit. We then headed over to Disneyland to find some clothes for Gabe.

Molly decided she didn't want to be int he stroller any more. This worked out well. Because Gabe went right into the stroller, he got under Molly back up blankie and was warm. I had been promising them popcorn all day so now seemed like a good time to deliever. I bought the cool Pirates of the Carribean bucket and everyone was happy. We strolled around for a bit. As we went into Adventureland, I saw the Tiki room was seating people. So, we walked right in. It was great. Molly and Gabe loved the whole thing. Although they were a bit worried that the stroller would be wet because of the Thunderstrom that they had heard. During the show, Gabe has said he had to go potty. So after the ride we headed to the potty. Now, however, he did not have to go.

We went to the Jungle Cruise. It had a very short line. Of course in the midlde of it Gabe said he had to go potty. I was very mean and said, "Hold it!". Our Jungle Cruise driver was obviously very tired and it seemed his audience was as well. I think I might have been the only person laughng at his jokes. Molly and Gabriel were completely convienced they had seen real animals. Imediatly upon departing the Jungle Cruise, we went potty.

We saw a baloon salesman and Molly begged for a baloon. I threw any good sense I had to the wind and bought one for her and her brother. Molly loves loons.

It was about time for the fireworks and I didn't feel like trying to find the perfect spot. So we found a nice sidewalk and sat. The fireworks were amazing. Gabriel loved them. Molly, not so much. All though she did point out all the fairy dust and was completely upset that we were not close enough and wouldn't be able to fly.

After the fireworks, it was time to go back to the hotel. Once again everybody went to bed very quickly.

That is so neat that you got to ride with Goofy on the tea cups.

Gabe loved the Octodog. I make them for him at home sometimes. As far as as stroller. we ussually use our wagon as I can put both kids in it at the same time. It was not an option on the plane. bummer.

The Cm did not get a picture of us. Instead Gabe took a picture of Goofy. It is a huge Goofy head picture.

How totally priceless that you guys got to ride with Goofy!  I have always wanted to ride with a character.   That must have been totally wonderful.

Sounds like Molly had a much better day today.  Less crying.

Poor Gabriel.  To be turned down at such a young age .  At least he has good taste - I mean, wow, a Princess and all.

Nice to know we can get boys clothing by Grizzly.  Last year we needed something for Alex and found NOTHING at DCA.  Or World of Disney.  Finally found something for him on Main Street near the Disneyana store.  So now, seems there are two places for emergency clothing.  Thanks for that tip Shawna!

We do tend to keep extra pants in the stroller for Alex now (and underwear) in case of accidents.

May All Your Days Be Filled With Magic!  And your nights full of Disney Dreams!
