| So what does everyone think of this? I'm just curious if I'm the only one who is bugged? Do you think she should be charged? (I DO!)

| This one is a toughie. I don't know about charging her in her home state, but the 911 call she made, well I have to say I think she should be charged for that. Just my opinion though. Tink

| Well... If I understand correctly she could only really be charged in New Mexico where she falsly reported being kidnapped. They're not going to because she didn't cost them any money. In Georgia, were all the money was spent searching for her, they'd like to do something but what? I don't see how it can be a crime to leave without telling anyone. In theory Leanne & I could pick up and leave tomorrow without telling our families and that wouldn't be illegal. If wasn't very smart but then again the taxpayers always seem to be the ones to pick up the tab when people to stupid things. Andy

| Yep, and I do feel good knowing our taxes should not have to cover her stupid mistake. I also feel sorry for her. What was simply her leaving turned into a horrible mess. Tink

| I think "filing" false 911 calls should be charged, as a past 911 dispatcher, a panic sets in when you receive upsetting calls, she unduly upset scores of people who didn't even know her, let alone the cost to the city in searching for her.....if she had cold feet, she should have just left, but making it look like a crime had been commited is ridiculous....she needs to pay restitution as a bare minimum but thats just my opinion....lol in Oregon a teen did the same type thing & did get charged & did get fined.....
