| | Tuesday morning was the character breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. The boys did not want to see the characters, but I convinced them to wave at them when they came to the table. The adults had a great time seeing the characters. The boys did love getting their fill of their favorite breakfast items. They also found it great that they got dessert after breakfast. I thought the food was really very good for a buffet and had a great selection. We then headed back into DL and into Toontown. We did Gadget's Go Coaster and played a little, but Nate was much more interested in getting back to Buzz. We eventually made our way over to DCA where I had to buy a pair of sunglasses because I broke another pair on the plane. I don't have great luck with sunglasses. We went to the water area at the farm and let the boys get a little wet. We then went to get a snack before heading deaper into bugs land. Jaden finally decided to go on Heimlich's Chew Chew Train. I was going to let Nate go on the bumper cars by himself, but the guy stopped me and asked how old he was. Apparently there is an unwritten rule that you have to be 7 to ride alone. He had met the height requirement. We finished off bugs land and it was back to the hotel for a rest and a swim. We had reservations for Rainforest Cafe for the evening. We had virtually no wait. They sat us upstairs next to the fish tank. The boys loved it and even were able to make it through the thunderstorm. What a fabulous dinner. I have never been disappointed with the food at any Rainforest and they didn't let me down. The boys even ate there dinner. We did some shopping at the Disney Store afterwards and the boys got there ears. For all of you going they have these great "Year of a Million Dreams" ears that flash. Walking around the park with all of these kids with flashing mouse ears is really quite spectacular. | | Whew Heather - I must admit, I was very worried about the rest of your days at the Resort. While Andy has not commented, he was too! I am so happy to read that this was a much better day! And thanks for mentioning the 'unwritten rule'. That is actually posted on the Disneyland website for a few attractions, and I was unaware it was for ALL attractions (Splash Mountain is the one I remember seeing it on). Did the kids warm up to the characters at Goofy's Kitchen during the meal? Leanne
