We were at Disney yesterday and it was fabulous. We were there for my daughters 2nd bday so it was extra magical. (BTW, should be posting these under Trip Report?

Couple of random notes --

Plaza Inn Breakfast with Minnie
We are Plaza Inn regulars, so much so, Fairy GodMother recognized my girls! They were sooooo crowded yesterday. The food was good and the charecters got around but the lines were super long to get food. We were on the patio and just getting in and out of our seats was a little cumbersome -- table of 10 to our right -- table of 8 to our left. This is still a favorite but word is out, at least it was out yesterday

Princess Faire
Again, loooooong wait. We had Grandma with us so one of us stood in line while the other took the girls (a 3 year old and 2 year old) to the coronation show. Highly recommend the show, the girls just loved it.
Luckily the were interested in coloring and the bag of chips and lemonade we bought them b.c. it was an hour and a half before we got to see the princesses. Snow White, Cinderella and Pocahontas were there with a shift change, we also got to see Belle. The are wonderful with the kids, you do not feel rushed and they were especially nice to my little birthday girl. The only issue is the long wait. If we don't have a third person like we did yesterday we won't do this again....to long to wait with two usually active tots.

Birthday Party at the Plaza Inn
I've seen a ton on this site/board about the birthday party. It was so great just like everyone has indicated. We LOVED it, the cake decorating was fun and a chance to see Mickey and Minnie is the best -- my kids danced in the congo line which was precious.

Disneyland Band
We were randomly walking to the castle and saw people starting to line up in a semi-circle. It was for the Disneyland Band. The CM was awesome and told us right where to stand to see the charecters best and told us our little ones would especially like the "show". Boy was he right -- Mickey comes out with a Marching Band right in front of the castle. You don't interact with the charecters but there is a lot of action. For two (or three?) songs Goofy, Donald, Chip and others I can't remember come out and dance dance dance! Mad Hatter and Alice also join in for a song or two. It's fabulous, so worth it. There's also a voice over from Walt from opening day. Some make think it's corny (doubt anyone from this Board but it just brought tears to my eyes. It was such a magical moment to see my kids having sooo much fun and just loving the dancing -- especially my little birthday girl.

Crowds/Rides
The crowds for the rides were not bad at all. However, keep in mind we just hit a few --- Buzz, Merry Go Round, Toontown rollercoaster and Small World. Things looked a little crowded in Fantasyland but we've seen worse.

We can't wait to go back. We're going to let our Annual Passes expire until after the Summer Blockout Dates. I'll be sad but last year the summer flew by before we were back in August

That sounds like such an awesome day! I loved your trip report.

Did you say your daughter's birthday was May 3rd? That is my daughter's birthday as well. She turned 6!!! (Where does the time go?) Anyway, I just had her huge birthday bash today.

I can't wait to try the Plaza Inn breakfast. THat is one we haven't done yet but I am looking forward to it!

I would also love to go to DL often enough to have an Annual Pass!!

That sounds like a wonderful trip!  Andy's birthday is also May 3rd!

I am going to move this to trip reports - I really enjoyed reading it.

And a commend about that show in front of the Castle - they seem to be doing some sort of show on a daily basis, either there, or more toward Town Square.  I will explain later.
