| | Up once again for the park opening. We used our early entry today. The park seemed really crowed for this early entry. Maybe cause only Fantasyland was open. We did manage to still get in 5 rides in that hour. The Matterhorn, Dumbo, Alice King rthur and Pinocchio. The Matterhorn was the third ride my daughter didn't want to go back (also Tower of Terror and Haunted Mansion). She was scared of the monsters. I really wanted to ensure we hit Indy up before the lines got long, so we headed over there and got there just as it opened. We were about 20th in line, but found out my daughter was one inch too short to ride. So, just my son and I did. (my wife didn't want to swap). I loved it as I knew I would. This was my son's second ride he said to not mark on the map (and his last one that he added to not redoing). We hit up Pirates twice again, with my wife and daughter taking a break on the second trip. Then the kids asked to do Big Thunder, so we hit it up back to back (I got fast passes before Pirates, so once we stood in line once, they were active and we went on again). We then went back to the hotel for some R&R and pool action. I think my kids could have stayed in the pool all day. Upon return, we went over to check out the Jedi training. My son really wanted to be a Jedi (I'm a SW geek, so was happy he wanted to do it). When it came time to pick the kids.....my daughter got picked instead. My son was so disappointed and a little jealous/angry at his sister, so we used it as a learning experience that he should be happy for her, even though he didn't get to do it. Not sure if it took. Anyway, my daughter proved to be a pretty good little Jedi and ended up fighting Darth Vader! Have some great video of him pointing at her and her fighting him. Fun! We went over to Toontown then. It was pretty quiet there and we got Mickey's autograph, did Minnie's house and did Roger Rabbit (I got FP earlier). It was getting close to the Parade of Dreams so we got a good spot and waited 45 min for it to start. Bought the kids some candy floss and us come Churros. Yum. Loved the parade. Yet another catchy song that is going through my head as I type this out. The kids had lots of the characters wave at them and Ariel looked right at my daughter and said "hello there". Pretty cool stuff. After it was over, we went to Tomorrowland and hit up Buzz and Star Tours again, then it was time for the park to close....**** summer hours of 8pm closing. | Yeah, don't you hate that 8pm closing? We had it on our last night too! No more Indy for your son? Alex isn't tall enough, I don't like it (makes me sick) so Andy rides that one alone quite often! Were did you end up sitting for the Parade of Dreams? Glad you enjoyed it! That is so neat that Lainey got to fight Darth Vader - how cool is that?!!! Do you have still pics as well? And did she get a certificate or something for doing it? Your poor son - I bet he was devastated. So, how did the lesson work? Leanne

Leanne No more Indy for us and I didn't want to ride alone, so that was it for our trip. We sat on a stone seat (kids on the ground in front) just across from the Matterhorn. Pics of Vadar fighting will be posted. Both kids ended up with a certificate. The lesson is pretty much the Jedi Master repeating all the lightsaber moves they have to do when fighting Darth Vader/Maul. Half the kids totally forget about the moves when they stand up against them, lol.

| | That is great - you will have to frame those certificates! Maybe add a picture too it for posterities sake! Sounds like you did have great seats for the parade - I will have to remember that spot when people ask! Leanne
