| Day 4 Tuesday May 22nd We started the day off just like the day before. Except today Grandpa didn’t come along because he wasn’t feeling well. So just the five of us (Me, Chuck, Charlie, Payton, and Grandma) headed over to DL right before it opened. Right after we walked in we came across The Mad Hatter and Alice standing in front of City Hall. We stopped for a quick picture and autograph. These were the first to characters we had come across so far. We headed right over to laceName w:st="on">TomorrowlaceName> laceType w:st="on">LandlaceType>. We walked right onto the Buzz ride, and then proceeded to ride it 3 more times. There was no line at all. We loved looking at the pictures afterwards. My husband looks intense like he’s really looking for bad guys. LOL Next we went across the way to Star Tours, my husband stayed off with Payton because these kinds of rides make him sick. Next my husband and I took Charlie on laceName w:st="on">SpacelaceName> laceType w:st="on">MountainlaceType> while Grandma waited with Payton. Charlie LOVED it! I can’t believe my 4 year old loves roller coasters. I was scared to death of laceName w:st="on">SpacelaceName> laceType w:st="on">MountainlaceType> as a kid. Charlie exact words were “That was awesome!” From there we grabbed a quick bite to eat at the Tomorrow Land Terrace. After lunch we decided to not go back and take a nap and to keep on going! We decided to go to laceName w:st="on">ToonlaceName> laceType w:st="on">TownlaceType>. Payton loved toon town. He really liked Minnie’s House; he was sitting in all the chairs and having a blast in her kitchen. He didn’t want to leave! Daddy finally got him to take a nap in the stroller while I went on the Go-Coaster with Charlie. By this time the park was getting pretty busy, so we wanted to go check out California Adventure. We stopped at the silhouette studio on Main Street to have the kid’s silhouettes done. My mom has a tradition of getting every Grandkids silhouette done; my 2 kids are the only kids that she doesn’t have. Her hallway is lined with them; I think it’s about 13 (including her dogs). Now it was time to go check out California Adventure, I haven’t been to DL since DCA has opened. It’s been about 10 years! First thing we headed to was Soaring, I wanted to see what everybody was talking about. Grandma stayed off with Payton and Chuck and I took Charlie on. It was so neat! Charlie loved it, I loved it and Daddy thought it was neat but it made him a little bit motion sick. We got fast passes as we got off for another ride. Next we checked out the rapid ride. We all got a little bit wet, but not to bad. By this time it was time to use our fast passes, so this time Grandma, Charlie and me went. Charlie loved it even more the second time. He kept yelling at me to lift my feet up so they wouldn’t hit the trees. He also likes to try to catch the fireworks at the end. Now it was time to go over and see Crush. Charlie was sitting right up front, but unfortunately he didn’t get to talk to Crush. I don’t even want to think about what Charlie might have asked him…. You know little boys with their bathroom humor. (Just wait for the story behind this) As we came out of Crush we saw three characters all on different corners Pluto, JoJo, and Cinderella. The boys were able to get a picture with Pluto, but by the time we were done JoJo and Cinderella had disappeared. Now it was time to head over to the Disneyland Hotel for our 5:30 reservations at Goofy’s Kitchen. Grandpa was there waiting for us because he was feeling a little better. While eating dinner we were able to see Goofy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Minnie, Belle, & Cinderella. I don’t know what table we had, but it seemed really good because we saw every character that was there. Payton enjoyed grabbing on to all their noses and not letting go! I took a ton of great pictures. Now I will get to the funny story. Belle was squatting down talking to Charlie about all the different rides that he went on. She asked Charlie what was your favorite ride. Charlie replied “Soaring.” She asked if he smelled the orange trees and the pine trees, etc. He replied “Yes, and I even smelled some dog poop.” I could tell Belle was having a really hard time not trying to crack up! Leave it to my kid! After we left Goofy’s Kitchen we walked all the way back to the hotel to turn in early. | | Wendi - lol Still laughing over the dog poop comment. Poor Belle! Alex loves Soarin too! So, was I right, is it a total must do? I love that ride myself! And I sure wish Alex was a coaster fan. Sometimes, while not a huge fan myself because of motion sickness, sometimes I get an urge to ride. One day, he will do it, and we can all enjoy the ride together. Minnies House - Alex is now almost 5 and STILL loves that place! It is hard to get kids out of there, I know how you feel. And stroller naps - gotta love them, don't you? We took advantage of them when Alex would do it - single riding everything. Sounds like you had great seats at Goofy's - and I am very glad you easily saw all the characters! Okay, off to read the next day. I am so enjoying your reports Wendi! Thanks for getting them up so quickly! Leanne

| I love the dog poop comment. That is so something my kids would say. Great to know that all kids really do think alike.
