Day 4 Monday- hot and crowded

Troy went this morning to this morning to the Segway adventure while me and the kids slept in. When he got back who was on a high. He loved it so much and said everyone should try it. There was 12-15 people in his group and they spent an hour inside the building learning to ride. Then they went outside and toured the World Showcase. He said in each country they went on all the paths and around all the gardens that many people don’t realize is even there. They had to stand in a line going around until they got to a specific area and then they was let loose. After it was done they received a postcard and a special trading pin.

The kids and I slept in from our late night. It was after 10:30 before we was all up. We got dressed and ready for our Character Lunch at Cinderella Royal Table. We had thirty minutes to kill so we got in line for Mickey’s Philharmagic. But had to exit for our reservations. We arrived and had to wait 10 minutes before being let in to meet Cinderella. As we got up to her our name was called to enter the restaurant, this was about a 20 min. wait.. So Kyan got her pic taken and then we headed up all the stairs to the restaurant. We was then seated at our table that had confetti on it. Kyan received a wand and Trey received a sword. So once we ordered I was looking around at all the tables and noticed that our table was the only table with the confetti. I am really not sure why I am guessing because we had our anniversary buttons on. But Kyan and I insisted on taking the confetti. We got to see Snow White, Belle, Jasmine and the Fairy Godmother. Our lunch was so good. I had the Major Domo’s Pie and Troy had a Focaccia Sandwich with Sweet Potatoes chips. Then dessert was served the kid’s had little sundaes topped with a chocolate crown and Troy and I had a chocolate cheesecake mousse with chocolate ice cream. The atmosphere and décor along with the food definitely makes this a must do at least once. Cost is high but so worth it.

After that we had fp for Mickey’s Philharmagic so we done that and then headed over to the Pirates Tutorial. Trey was dressed in his Cpt Jack garb complete with hair and hat. Before the show there was a cast member at showing everyone where to stand and he approaches my kids and says “We have Cpt Jack Sparrow and Cinderella. I must have your autograph.“ And he gets out his autograph book and has the kids sign there names. It was so cute and I managed to get Trey’s pic doing it. So the show started and the Cpt Jack was blown away with Trey. He kept staring at him and smiling. Then Jack picks four children to be in the show. He picked a boy, then a girl and then walks up to Trey and goes. “You, you look familiar. Do I know you? Where’s you mum?” And Trey points to me and He goes ”Oh Good I don’t know you” So Jack taught them all how to sword fight with Mack the pirate. They was suppose to bang swords three times and then say “Look the governor’s daughter” and then flee. Jack walks up to Trey and says “Are you ready come right on up then.” And then says “I like this one.” And Mack goes well, “He makes me feel taller.” Well my little Jack look alike decided he was going to keep fighting and not stop. And Jack was loving it going “Oh and Ouch” Trey was swinging so hard he lost his sword that was in his belt and Jack picked it up and said “okay mate point your finger that way and say look the governor’s daughter.” Trey was just in heaven after that was over and was thrilled to be so close to Cpt Jack and of course it thrilled mom too. The guy portraying Jack does an awesome job. He has his mannerisms down and the cute swagger. Awesome is all I can say. I am so glad we have it all on video tape and pics.

It was so hot and extremely crowded so we headed over to the Hall of Presidents.. To cool off and try to get Kyan to sleep. It worked and we walked over to Buzz and got fp and rode after our smoothies. We then all went to the Monster’s Inc Laugh Club. Well Trey was in the clips of the audience with a title that said I sat on a small monster. He got extremely bashful and was shaking his head no. It was so cute. We really enjoyed this new show but I wanted to see it a second time to see if the jokes are the same or change but we didn’t make it back.

The time was 7 and we knew that my old high school band was marching at 8:30 before the Spectromagic parade. So we decided to go get seats near town square so we can make a quick exit after the parade. We had great seats and enjoyed the time people watching and interacting with cast members. The kingdom was so crowded today and we did not enjoy all the people. We would have left if it wasn’t for wanting to see the band play. So after the parade it was time to rest and we went to the hotel for a late supper and bed.

I'm really enjoying your report!

You saw the "good" Jack. We did too, three times (I kept dragging my family back to the Pirate Tutorial because the adlibs made it almost a different show each time), but the fourth time it was a different Jack and not nearly as good (in either appearence or mannerisms). I'm so glad you saw the real good one.

Thanks Elaine!

We had should a great time but it went to quick. There was so much we didn't get done because we spent so much time at the water parks.

That Jack sure was a hottie. I was just so "star struck" My uncle could believe I didn't have a comeback for Jack with his comment but I was totally speechless.

lol Kristi - yep, the good Jack's are hotties, aren't they?  At Disneyland he looks JUST like Johnny.

I don't know how I missed your trip report - sorry it has taken me so long to read it.  And like Elaine, I am loving it.
