| | Day 6 Wednesday This morning we got up and ate lunch at the resort. The food was okay but there was never any variety it was the same choices each day. And it was off to Blizzard Beach because the kids loved Typhoon Lagoon and the pool at the hotel so much we decided to go. And they wanted to go to the “Hot Hot Hot place” from their sing along video. So who could say no. When we got there we went to the Ski Patrol Training Camp. This was so neat. The kids went across icebergs floating in the water by hanging onto a net above their heads. Then they went on some slides in the area and the adults was allowed to go on with them. Then we decided to take the ski lift to the top of Mt Gushmore so we could do the family raft ride, Teamboat Springs. This is the world’s longest family raft ride and we all loved it so much we went again. But this time we took the stairs up to the top because the wait for the ski lift was terribly long. We had waited 30 minutes before and walking up took maybe 5 minutes. Then it was off to the lazy river. What I love about Disney’s lazy river is that they go around the whole water park with ports to get out at the next attraction. Well done Disney. This eliminates so much walking. We got out for Troy and Trey to do the Toboggan Racers. I figured it would scare Kyan because you went by yourself. So we decided to go on the Snow Stormers first. This is a water slide where you lay on a mat and slide down going “switchback slalom” style. Boy was I wrong she loved it. We went down the ride 3 times and then took her on the toboggan racers. I have another dare devil on my hands. Then it went over the loud speaker that Blizzard Beach was asking everyone to evacuate the pools because of incoming weather. So we decided to head back to the hotel. We was cleaning up and getting everything together to go out for our supper at MGM and for late stay. It was at this time I noticed our video camera was missing. Now it was mom’s turn for her first melt-down. I lost it. Gone was Trey with Cpt Jack, gone was Kyan with all the princesses, gone was all these great memories on tape. I was so heartbroken and upset. Troy started calling the places for lost objects. And then it hit me, that Troy didn’t get it out from under our seats at Soarin last night. So he was on hold with the main Lost and Found and I left to go to the Lost and Found. Troy called about 20 minutes later saying they had it at the lost and found and knew I was coming. Thank God. So we met up at the entrance of MGM and we was having a constant downpour. So we put on ponchos and headed to The Great Movie Ride. After the ride it was time for supper at the 50’s Prime Time Café. Loved it there. We was placed in the area called Mom’s Kitchen and immediately Troy and I was scolded for having our elbows on the table and Troy for having his hat on. We both had meatloaf with potatoes and green beans. And we cleared our plates for fear that “mom” would return and feed us our food. We had seen her do this at another table. For dessert we had the brownie sundae. It was so good and everyone that walked by our table would comment on it and say they had to have one. I couldn’t finish mine. The kids had the make your own sundaes which was another hit. After dinner it was still raining so we decided to leave and go back to the hotel. | Glen (my husband) ordered that too and loved it. Who would have thought to sprinkle caremal corn onto ice cream...but boy! What a good combo that was!

| | It was a delicious dessert but I didn't like the carmel corn. It was okay but the texture was just off to me. But the Prime Time was exciting to eat at and with the Dining plan we had so much food. Troy said that one thing to add to the report was that we never went hungry this trip with all the food we was allowed.

| | I am a total sucker for brownie sundae's. Yum! I am so glad you got your video camera back. That would have been a complete tragedy. Blizzard beach sounds wonderful! Leanne

| Could you imagine if the camera was lost for good. I was upset as it was. Completely was a downer and it drained most of our evening going to get it.

| | I know Kristi - I am so glad you found it. I will never forget when Andy left our backpack in Critter Country the day we were due to leave. All airline tickets (before e-tickets), id's, money and more were in there. It was a horrible feeling. Thank goodness it was found, and we have a new friend who works at Walt Disney Travel Company because of it! Leanne
