| i am wondering if anyone has been to the disney outlet warehouse while on their vacation? we would really like to go and i am wondering what a cab might cost to get there? is there other shopping near by? i looked it up on google earth and it looks like it's not too far, but looks can be deceiving, and i don't want to be surprised with a $100 cab ride. |

| | Oh My Goodness Lisa - you didn't know about it? Not much of an issue though and I will tell you why. Okay, first of all, it is VERY close to Disneyland. Within a mile or 2. Easy to get to, and right next to Target - so if you splurge on a cab, be sure to stop at Target as well and buy drinks and stuff to save you money at the parks! Now - we have been to that outlet only once in all of our trips. Why? Because it is a complete joke. This store is so close to Disneyland that they can get away with selling merchandise at very small discounts. Think 10%. The travelling outlets sell merchandise at 50-80% off. The one here also has mainly clothing - so if you are a Disney clothes hound, then it will be great for you - after all, you ARE saving at least 10% over Disneyland prices. If you are looking for other merchandise though, that can really be hit and miss. Leanne

| | Leanne, Wow that discount is hardly worth it! Might as well use the passholders discount at the Resort! After shopping at the World of Disney, going to the Disney Store just isn't the same. Plus, some of the Disney Stores aren't as nice as they used to be. BTW, has anyone been to the Disney Store Outlet at Ontario Mills? It's pretty nice with good discounts. I'd still rather go to World of Disney, though! Lisa

| | The Disney Store outlet near the border (in San Diego) said that basically the difference between their store and the Disney stores is that they can keep their sale stuff on the shelves longer. She said they also have some specials, but not many. Basically their outlets really aren't that great for getting deals IMO....but fun none the less! |

| | Yep that is another thing I don't like about the outlet store. It is like walking into a warehouse. Not a Disney store. lol The farther you get from Disneyland, the better prices you will find. Leanne
