| | I am going to copy Leanne's topic and get one rolling here since we have a few people getting ready for trips in 2008. We are currently 114 days out from our Easter trip. Let's share our excitement!!

| | On Saturday, December 1, we will be exactly six months away from our first ever WDW trip which starts June 1. That means we are nearing the 180-day mark. I guess I'll soon be making a call to make some reservations! Considering that we first started talking about this trip about a year ago, it seems like time is going by pretty quickly. I can't wait. Still, just the planning and the anticipation is pretty fun! Stephen

| Whoo! I'll add my ticker here.
My sister bought the WDW tickets over Thanksgiving, and we'll be finalizing the rental house in a couple of weeks!
I can't believe that we are at this point about 3 months out!

| We're planning on going October 16th, 2009. I think it's a little early for us to be counting down yet!!! Is that a good time of year to go? I know DL has a lot less people that time...but is WDW the same??!!

| | It's never too early to count down especially if it's a first trip. 112 days!! I have never been in October but I know that is when Elaine goes. Also you have the Pirate and Princess Parties you could attend. And Halloween decor.

| | Mynde, we took an October trip this year, and it was surprisingly busy for two reasons: Food and Wine festival at Epcot and Mickey's not so Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. We went more towards the end of Oct. so you might miss the Halloween crowd. There was an enormous difference in the crowds between Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. During the late part of October I didn't even bother to stand in line at the Food and Wine festival as all lines were 10-20 people deep. November 1, all lines were a walk up. I think from now on I will be planning for early Nov. or early Dec., or mid-late Jan. That seems to be a good time for low crowds and reduced room rates.
