So, I have yet to see any show that really stands out as a must watch, aside from the ones I'm already watching (American Idol, Bones, House, Heros, Lost) and even some of those are getting old (Heros and Lost). I do watch a few sitcoms, My Boys, Bill Engvall Show, My Big Fat Redneck Wedding (when we happen to catch it), oh and we do watch Mythbusters and UFC. Other than than, nothing. What happened to good TV? Did it go away when the writers went on strike?

I think we are going to like Lost this time Danette - we only have 1 more week to wait, and I am excited.

But like you - I am kind of bored with Bones and the CSI's.

Las Vegas is one Andy and I both like and it is still holding our interest- plus they have  4 new episodes left before reruns!

I quit watching 24 last year.

So - I pretty much watch real life ones now.

Have you tried Don't forget the lyrics?  I do like that show (MUCH better than the singing bee).

We atutally have watched Don't Forget the Lyrics, and we may be adding that one to our list. I really hope Lost starts moving, it's really dragging out!

The Office and 30 Rock. We watched both on dvd. They are wickedly funny.

As far as any new shows? Yuck. I actually don't mind that the writer's have gone on strike. It's gotten to the point that I like reality tv MUCH better anyway.

Survivor and Big Brother are both starting in February. WOOT!

I like Medium. It just started up again Jan. 7th, so I get to watch all new shows. Unfortunately I 'm going to miss tonight episode.

I'm very interested in Survivor Micronesia.  First, there is a contestent from Ford City, PA, which is the town exactly where I work.  Chet Welsh is the name (he is the older, gay man who used to judge beauty pagents).  Several people from work know him, including one lady who graduated school with him.  According to the TV guide preview, Jeff Probst says he thinks he might be a little out of his world here.

Other interesting facts I learned from the TV Guide Channel is they are in Palau (they had filmed there before).  James (from Survivor China) himself might be neutralized, because he says he is not a good swimmer!

Exile island has returned, with an immunity idol.  The twist is both teams will send 1 person there! Both people will get the immunity idol clue...  Could be interesting.

Also, I believe I heard the tribes are arriving seperate, so they won't see each other until the first challange.  And there will be an individual immunity idol on the beach whenever the tribes arrive.  The individual immunity idol will only be good for the first tribal council, however...

Only good for the first tribal council?  That will probably never come into play then.

You learned all of this from the TV Guide channel?  Wow - I should watch it more often

When does it start again?  For all of us Lost and Survivor fans, are they going to be on against each other - or is Lost 1 hour later.  Anyone know?
