| I really think Josiah will make it eventually, he just needs to grow a little more with his singing. They guy from Chattanooga didn't make it so that is a bummer (my friend knew him). And I'm sooooo glad that Joanna made it! Okay, next week starts voting right?

| | Okay the top 24... I wasn't surprised with who went home. I really didn't like Amy, or Garrett. Although the blond guy was okay not great. I really don't remember Joanna's performance that well. Standouts for me was the Aussie guy, David ? ( the young kid w/ black hair) and the long hair rocker. Is it just me but it seems like there is a lot of D names for the guys. For the girls: I think her name is Asia. I like the rocker nurse but I could not understand her Wed. night.

| Jake and I already have our top 6 picked out for each group!
For the guys we liked the Aussie dude, the young kid, David I think, the long haired rocker dude, the short haired roker dude, the very flamboyant kid (sang Jailhouse rock), and the dread-lock dude (although I can't stand the dreads! yuck!).
For the girls, the rocker nurse chick, Ayeshia (Just remember her name has "yes" in it), the other girl who lost her father, Brooke (the very smiley blonde who played the keyboard in hollywood week), Raimele (the Philipino girl), the girl from Ireland with the tattoo....I'm sure I'll figure out their names eventually!
I'm not surprised on who when home either...I wish Kyle (the politician guy) would have gotten the slot instead of Colton (voted off last night). I think Kyle would have gotten past the first round.

| Well, after last night we've picked our favorite top 3 guys: Danny Norieaga (sp?), David Cook, and David Archelulllaaaa, I can't remember his last name. Our 4th fav based on last night was the Aussie dude, don't remember his name either.
Can't wait to see the girls tonight but will probably not watch them until tomorrow before vote off.

| | I like David A. He's fantastic. Imagine was a great song for him. I also like Chekesy on the mens side. As for women, tough call. I do like Brooke, she is strong. I also love the Philipino girl. Wow! Someone I did like, but not anymore is Asia'h (the girls whose father died). Yes, she has talent, but Simon was spot on last night when saying she did a big song, and needed to be a Diva. She thinks she's better than she actually is. Plus, singing All By Myself--- ok... I think she's playing to people's sympathy. Kady Malloy, I'm rooting for her, but she failed the last 2 weeks. She's struggling to find herself!! |

| | Does anyone else think that Danny Norega ( however his last name is spelled) looks like Jessica Alba? Seriously, but a long haired wig on him and it would be her totally. As for singers I like Danny A and David Cook. I also like the Aussie guy but I didn't get to see this weeks performance from him because my DVR cut it off. As for girls I like Brooke and loved how Simon thought she was directing it to him.

| | I'm on the fence about Danny Noriega. I just think he's a little bit too over the top with his "flamboyance" (I will use that word not to sound ignorant or prejudiced), but I do think he is getting better in his preformances. Seriously I could see the Jessica Alba reference you made (well maybe not Jessica Alba now that she is pregnant with twins). I know his personality plays well with some people, and some people will just out hate him. In all seriousness, popularity is a big part of picking the next American Idol, so maybe his "flamboyance" plays well. I think he'll be around at least until the top 10. |

| I agree with you. I was shocked to see how upset he was with the elimination of Alaina. I mean the tears were flowing.
