| | Ironically I didn't see what they said about Jason myself. The show ran a couple minutes long. Anyways, Dave Cook again stole the show again. Always be my Baby was so unique, and Paula was 100% right, it could be in a movie now. Him crying at the end just re-affirmed that he is something special. David Archuleta, singing When you Believe, is again singing a song with a message. Maybe he is a little predictable, and we will never get that "fun" song out of him. Kristi and Brooke were struggling (Brooke looked a little like she was shaking), and Carly had to power through Without You, and she didn't do it. Probably those 3 are doomed for the bottom 3, and it's really a toss-up for me. |

| | Darn - I sure hope someone here saw it live so they can tell what the judges say. Or maybe Ryan will tell when Jason walks up tonight. I read in on vftw that Carly met Mariah 3 years ago - she certainly hid that well last night. Also in People magazine this week they talked about David C being a copycat. I read that article (thanks whoever posted that tidbit a few days ago) and am amazed the judges have not picked up on that. When 3 different bands are saying he copied them, you would think at least one of the judges would know that. So tonight I am thinking we will be saying goodbye to one of the ladies. Hopefully Carly. | | A little goofy how they split the people up. I thought Carly maybe should have been there, but I am not too surprised Kristi left. Watching this show tonight, it seemed like Brooke realizes she is going to go home too sometime soon. She seemed a little condescending to the process, and even seemed mad a Simon for saying that Kristi should go home. I think she might be forgetting at this point that this is a competition. |

| | My recording stopped after then spilt David cook and Jason. So what happened? How was it spilt who was the bottom 3? Also about Jason, Randy didn't like it he thought it sounded like a luau. But Paula and Simon loved it and wished they was at the luau

| | Okay, the groups: 1: David C, Kristy and Brooke 2. Jason, Syesha and Carley David A was told he was safe and then Ryan told him to join the safe people. Then Ryan told David C and Syesha to trade groups, leaving Syesha, Kristy and Brooke in the bottom 3 - everyone else was safe. Syesha was sent back to the couch - she was safe. Leaving Brooke and Kristy Lee in the bottom 2. Brooke got very mad at Simon for saying that it was Kristy Lee's turn to go home. She did act like maybe she thought she was going home. Brooke was safe, Kristy Lee gone. She started her song, Forever - singing to Simon. You also missed the talk about Kristy Lee's horse. In the call-in segment someone asked her if she bought her horse back yet. Kristy Lee told us that the person she sold him to will not sell her horse back to her. (awwwww). Ryan made a plea to the new owner to sell her horse back to her. Then after Kristy was told she was going home, Ryan again made a plea to this man to return her horse. I have to say, while I did pick the boys to be in the top, I really thought it was Carly's time to go. A tear was shed for Kristy Lee tonight as I have always liked her, and curses came out when Carly was put in the safe group. Leanne

| | Yeah, sad nite for Kristi fans. I thought she was ok. The only thing I didn't care for was when she did 8 Days a Week. Getting back to the Dave Cook stuff, what exactly did People say about Dave being a copycat? As far as I know, aren't all the songs on IDOL cover songs, and not original? Really Dave is no different than any other artists in IDOL. I seriously doubt the IDOLS do all the musical arrangements, so I'm sure David just finds an arrangement of a song that suits his style. Any other bands that do this, (which BTW they are also doing cover songs) should be proud to see David use their arrangements. None of the stuff is original. |

| | People named 3 different bands (sorry, don't remember who, and I read it in a doctors office) all of which had remade the songs. Hello, by Lionel Richie was remade before David and he copied the remake Billy Jean was remade and he copied the remake And there was a third song but I can't remember which one. All three of the bands that did the remake are very upset that David is not giving THEM the credit for the remake. Since he is not mentioning that, all of the fans think he is a brilliant song writer because of his changes. Those bands are not happy and just want the credit to go where it should be. To them - not to David. Leanne

| Not to start a debate, but David C is giving credit. In his little intro video's he's saying the bands he's getting the version from. They're just pissy that not more is mentioned about it. Regardless, he's the best one on the show so they need to just deal. And if there was any legal disputes about it AI would have to be apologizing publicly and stating where he's getting his arrangements from. They're probably able to show that they are giving proper credit so nothing can be done. I do specifically remember them crediting the other bands.
Anyways, I actually liked Kristi Lee's performance but am not surprised to see her go home, she screwed up awhile back and just didn't have the time to pull herself out of her hole. I don't think Brooke was being condensending (sp?) about the process. I just think she's optimistic and it doesn't mix well with Simon's pesimissom (sp? sorry I'm the world's worse speller) and I feel she was just trying to be optimistic for her and Kristi, not disrespectful.
I liked both the David's and Jason the best, and Kristi the best out of the girls, guess I should've voted, huh?
Oh, what they said about Jason, Randy: Reminded him of a luau (Simon didn't know what one was) and he didn't get it. Paula: Wanted to be at that luau and thought he was brilliant. Simon: Agreed Paula.
