Well, I've heard only a couple of those songs last night before (Memories, You Must Love Me, Music of the Night and Jesus Christ Superstar).  I think Jason and Brooke should be considered in the bottom, especially Brooke starting over again (this is the second time she did this).  David Cook was very good as was Syeshya (and she came across as a performer, and I agree with Simon, a very sexy one at that!!).  For me, David Cook again stole the show, by showing his emotion.  Basically that leaves the third spot for Carly and David A.  Truthfully, I enjoyed Carly's song better than David's, and I would like to see David A there (just to shake him up a little bit), but my gut says it will be Carly as the third.  Of Carly, Brooke, and Jason, I would think that Brooke will go home tonight.

my dvr didn't work, my hubby recorded a bunch of deadliest catch and we didn't have space.

So what was the theme this week?

Crap, I can't remember the name of the composer for the week, and I just watched it. It was the guy that wrote/composed Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera.......

I really, really liked Syesha, for the first time. David C, again loved him. I felt bad for Brooke but it's getting down to the best of the best so I understand if she goes. My bottom 3 would have to be Brooke, Jason, and either Syesha or David A.

Much to my surprise it's bottom 2 and it was Carly and Syesha with Syesha being safe. I guess this goes along with Leanne's theory of a non-American winning the contest. So far I don't believe either one of the David's have been in the bottom 3 (and now 2).

I'm really surprised at the results and have to agree with the judges about it being a huge popularity contest. I'm still not voting though.

I saw in the paper the other day about the ratings for American Idol dropping, I think people are starting to get bored with the show.

Andrew Llyod Webber was the composer.

I was a little shocked at the outcome. I didn't think Carly would win, but I thought she was good the other night. Brooke definately deserved to go, and Jason wasn't that good, so I feel that both Carly and Syeshya were better.

I heard that too Danette that the ratings have been down this year for IDOL.

Hmm, first Michael , then Carly. Both non Americans hmm that is interesting. Or maybe it's just a coincendence.

I don't think it is coincidence at all.  This is AMERICAN idol - not Irish idol.

I watched the show and the results last night and was half asleep.  But am not surprised Carly went home.

Next week - Neal Diamond - they get to murder some of my favorite songs

I thought Carly would go home, but not last week. I really feel she was better in that performance than Brooke was in hers and Jason in his. But that goes to show, it sometimes becomes a popularity contest. But in the end, Carly probably wasn't going to make it much further, so it really doesn't matter!

How neat, well I again missed it. The dvr didn't record idol but it managed to record Deadliest Catch at the same time.  HMMM,,,, something tells me that my husband did this on purpose.
