You guys know I love Jason, but have to agree - last night he did horrible.  I do think he has a stronger fan base (lots of young girls) so he may be safe tonight.  If I am right about that, then it will be Syesha going home.

It should be interesting to see.

Like you Kevin - the words Hungry Like the Wolf were hard to understand, and I know that song very well (I was in High School when Duran Duran was popular).  His second song was great, and I have always loved that song.

David A - yes he sings ballads.  That is his style.  I am sure he will be an easy listening artist.

I think Jason has run his course.  I love his vocals but he's very limited in what he can do.  Not much originality.  I could easily see him in a coffeehouse somewhere.

Syesha has a huge voice & I see her going off like Fantasia into broadway musicals.  She has the desire & the voice to succeed.  I thought she was fantastic last night....the judges have always been hard on her & this season is the first time I have not agreed with their opinions regarding her.

David A. has a good voice but to be honest with you, he's gotten very predictable with his song choices & a tad boring.  I would have loved to see him branch out & try other styles out of his comfort zone.  I think with a little more experience (and age) he could really be something but I'm not sure he's quite ready to the the American Idol.

David C. is extremely talented.  He's made a few bad song choices but overall, he's been very strong & has not had a lot of "copycat" or "karaoke" performances.  I wasn't a huge fan of his in the beginning but now I see another Daughtry on our hands???

My guess for bottom 2 will be Syesha (lacks in the fan support) & Jason (who has a huge fan base).  Hard to say who'll go but I feel Jason should be the one to go.

I think the finals will come down to the 2 David's.  Both good, both different styles so will be interesting to see what America thinks is the American Idol.

I agree 100% with you Laurie.  I am very curious about tonight.  We all know it SHOULD be Jason going home, but will probably be Syesha simply because of fans.

And a 2 David final - that will be very hard to predict the outcome for sure.  Either one has the talent to win - who has the bigger fan base?  They both sing a different style, so it could go either way.

I'm going to stick with my story of it's all rigged. (By the way, I had no idea Josh Gracin was a final 4 vote off.....I think I was out to sea for that season, I love Josh Gracin!) They haven't had a rocker win so I think David C. is up. David A. is very booorrrrriiiiinnnnggggg, Syesha is doing good but I think it's a little late to pull her into the final, although I think she'll make it another week. I do like Jason and will probably like some of his music win he's with a label but I think he's the one going. I wish he would have picked a different Bob Marley song.

Laughing at the question asked to David Cook tonight. A Pittsburgher wants to take him out on her birthday. Would have been so cool if he said yes. I'm sure the FOX station in Pittsburgh would have picked up on it!!!

Not unexpected, last night, the only question was Jason's fanbase strong enough to get him any furthur.  I think the voters made the right decision, and Jason himself being so carefree, really wasn't that upset about it.  I don't know what Jason does from here--- perhaps you are right Danette, he can tour coffee houses, or small venues.  It was so funny though seeing him at the beginning, singing with the guy in the white jumpsuit.  Anyone remember that guy had his 15 minutes of fame, singing some song with never ending lyrics...

Only 2 more weeks, and 3 songs next week.  I'm voting for David Cook the next two weeks...

I remember that guy, something about my brother is forever, right? So Jason is gone, Syesha is next and I really think it will be David C winning. 3 songs next week, what's the theme does anyone know?

Goodbye Jason - I may buy his CD - depends on what songs are on it

Next week - if they follow past years it will be:

1.  Judges pick the song

2.  The favorite song they have already had sung

3.  One new one (I think - can't remember for sure).

I missed it again this week. I swear hubby was suppose to be recording it while I took my final but a baseball game was recorded in it's place.
