Brooke, singing the Beatles farewell song (Let it Be) was just awesome.  Her smoky voice was unique!

I was really cringing during Kristi's 8 days a week.  Not that she sang it bad, but, the style of the song was very, strangly arranged.  Never heard it like that, and I didn't like it.  Simon hit the nail on the head--- that song in that arrangement just doesn't work. 

David A does not look comfortable moving around.  One of the places he stumbled in the song was walking down the stairs.  I also did not like that he said in the preview that he didn't know most of these songs, and knew this song from Stevie Wonder.  Ok, I know he is young, but THIS IS LENNON-MCARTNEY!  Known the world over.  He did say he nervous about this week, but, he must know something about Lennon, singing Imagine a couple weeks ago.  I'm fairly certain he is staying, but I'm very curious, if performance could be his downfall--- not his singing --- maybe the same thing which will bite Ramiele.

Amanda basically said the same thing, saying she picked a song the never heard of before. 

Leanne, did you not like Carly, or the song Come Together?  It's sort of an edgy tune, and I thought was a very good song for her to choose.

I love Come Together - did not like Carly's version of it.

David A was horrible tonight, but one mistake should not be enough to send him home.  I have been dialing now for almost 2 hours and have not once gotten a busy signal, so I am a bit worried about him.

I also loved Eze and Brooke Kevin - but I think I told you guys how I vote.  I have my favorite men and favorite women.  I vote for the one who needs my vote the most.  Tonight, that person is David A.

It is pretty much a given that one of the 6 will have a poor showing each week.

Why did I choose David A to vote for tonight when the judges hated Kristy?  Because I feel the immense amount of fans she has can pull her through.  Carly was loved by the judges and doesn't need me.  Jason will slide through because David A and Kristy were both pretty much trashed by the judges.  David is the better singer, therefore I choose David.

Now - I named my top 3 favorites.

Let me make something totally clear. 

My least favorites - aka the ones I will NEVER vote for:

I happen to like all the guys left, so will probably vote for any one of them that needs me.

Jason Castro's performance was ok, but he tends to hold on the guitar too much.  I was thinking today why he didn't perform "While my guitar weeps", but I looked it up and it's a George Harrison written song.

David H's I saw her standing there really didn't stand out (excuse the pun)..

Michael Johns with Across the Universe, probably didn't come Across as well as it should (ok, I'm in a goofy mood this morning, so excuse that pun).

But in seriousness, even Paula said Kristi has enough fans to pull her through.  Thinking more about her performance, Randy did tell her to do things in a country style / rock style.  Eight days a week is a pretty fun song.

What concerns me about David A, is thinking about his other performances, especially the last 2 weeks, is he was more comfortable trying to give an emotional performance, rather than a full performance.  (Jason Castro does the same thing, so does Brooke White to an extent).  I think maybe he was out of his element.  Trying to make it look natural on the stage, along with walking down the stairs, and remembering the lyrics to the song has to be difficult.  I feel for you David A, but I'm guessing he will make it through.  By the way, did anyone watch him on Star Search?  He was the winner in the Junior category.  Syesha was also a contestant on the show.  So considering the talent, both Carly and Kristi had record contracts, and David A and Syesha had already been in talent shows (and David A won). 

Anyways, my final thoughts last night was the show was ok.  A Lennon/McCarthy idea was great, and I'm glad they have the rights to them (thanks Michael Jackson!).  In the end, my favorites last night were Chikezie and Brooke, and that's who I voted for each (once). 

And you are right on the song Jason should have done. lol  I had him down to vote for first, but then Kristy and David A got trashed by the judges which is why I voted for David.  I do NOT want him to leave.

You will find the closer we get to the top 3, I will vote for who is best, but for now, I vote for my favorites - and no, it is not based on anything but prior performances.

I also agree about David H - while not horrible, it was not that good.

Definitely the two best last night were Ezie and Brooke so I can see why you voted for them, and am glad you did - after all, if everyone did what I did, one of those 2 could be going home, and we don't want that!

Didn't get to hear much of Celebrate Me Home by Reuben Studdard. 

BTW: Does anyone know if you download some music on ITunes, if you get the full version.  For example, if I downloaded David A's We can work it out, if it's the performance from Tuesday, or the full song sung in a studio?
