I thought David H's performance was so-so, but to tell you the truth, I didn't think Shyesha was a final 3 contestant.  I really thought Ramiele and Kristy were in, and if I would have to pick a third, that would have been very close, but I probably would have wound up at David H also.  I'm a little surprised he got eliminated, I think Kristy and Ramiele (both of whom I thought were gonners), are better than him, but just had off nights.

I thought Shyesha was fine, although I must admit I don't remember too much of her performance now (that stinks going first).

Can't wait for next week!

I don't really remember Syesha's performance either, but I remember Chikezee's and he was second! LOL I don't know, I'm kinda bored with Syesha, but that's just me.

I didn't think Syesha did well on Tuesday, I know I didn't like it but the judges did.  I was not surprised she was in the bottom 3, or that she was safe.

Kristi - not surprised about the bottom 3 either, happy she didn't go home.

David H - I was a bit surprised he was there instead of Ramiele.

Then when it all came down to it, I was a bit shocked that he went home instead of Kristy.

I was happy little David was safe, and Jason, and Brooke and Ezie.

I am thinking America just decided that they didn't want a gay stripper as an idol for their children.

Now - did you watch closely?  Was that Sanjaya in the crowd when Kristy was singing last night? lol

And yep - they are going to get the chance to murder more beatles songs.

David A - I think you should sing Yesterday.

I know Paul wrote the song, but as far as I know ANY lennon/mccartney or one of them is okay, but not sure.

Danny N was in the crowd too, wearing a shirt for Ramilee.

Yes it was Sanjaya. Also did you see the Jessica Alba look alike ( I forgot his name) sitting with Ramiele's parents.

Wasn't a great show.  My favorite of the night was Carly singing Blackbird.  Brooke did look strange moving around, and singing a simplistic song.  Chiekezie let me down--- what was he thinking-- a harmonica.  I didn't bother to vote this week.

Tink, we got Yesterday.  Not a great version, and maybe it would have been a better choice for Jason instead of Shyesha.  Jason did seem a little goofy singing Michelle.

Oh well.  I think just a lot of average performances.

Back to back Beatles theme weeks was the main culprit I think. Noone really stood out in my opinion. The one-trick-pony Amanda can leave tonight and I'd be happy.

I think you hit the nail on the head Rob.  Most of the songs were ok, but the Beatles again was maybe too soon.  I have to admit, I didn't watch the first three that closely (on the phone with my wife), but nothing too memorable.  Chikezie was my biggest disappointment.  I think Simon said he would be good at bluegrass, and that sticks in my head.  Brooke was strange, and sang such a simplistic song.  She was so upset with herself.  Michael singing such a song with so many spoken words, and Dave Cook with the voicebox was like Peter Frampton singing the Beatles!!  Just strange..  I didn't bother voting, as I got quickly into Jericho (awesome episode) right after it was over!
