Hmmm, interesting prediction Leanne. Now we'll wait and see if it it's true, but I still won't vote! LOL

Yeah, it will be interesting to see if that happens!

Last night was ok.  Of course, David Cook singing Billy Jean probably stole the show.  Very unique, turning a pop song to a slow song (the opposite of what he did for Hello).  Very interesting.  I too never heard of the song David A sang, but after Simon said that this is something you would hear at a theme park, I was laughing so hard that I re-wound and listened to his performance again.  Simon was dead on and the song was so funny then!!

Kristy doing God Bless the USA, I think her performance was good, but the song has such a strong message, how could you not like it!  Brooke's Every Step you Take was so so, as was Michaels We Will Rock You/We are the Champions.  Carly's Total Eclipse was ok, and Ramiele's Heart song was ok.

Chiekezie needs to be and entertainer and stay away from the slow stuff.  I honestly think he is an entertainer at heart, so he has to make his performances look fun.  Not that he isn't solid on the vocals, but I really think at this part of the game, he needs to stand out.  Jason again looked clownish, especially singing foreign lyrics.  Syesha was strong, so this makes a hard week to pick someone to go home.

For me, I would put Kristy on the bottom (based on past performances), Ramiele (although they were right, she was much better than last weeks), and I think Michael might be there too.

BTW: When showing the photos of the Chiekezie as a boy, did you notice the one of him in front of It's A Small World?

Kevin - yep I called Alex into the room to watch that pic and he was very excited to see Pink Small World (yep, there is the Blue small world and white small world too. lol)

I have a difference of opinion about last night.

I thought Ramiele was horrible.  And while they said she had no voice, she certainly talked fine, so I think that is bunk.

Jason - I didn't know the song, Andy thought it was boring, I like the vocals, and of course Simon hated it.

Syesha - I didn't know the song, but wow she sounded wonderful.

Ezie - ouchie

Brooke - after her restart she sounded great.  Typical Brooke

Michael - I happen to love Queen, and thought he did a great job channeling Freddy M.

Carly - Andy and I both liked it and only Paula agreed with us.  I happen to love that song and she did it great justice.

David A - Simon and Andy both hated this.  I loved it.

Kristy - one of my all-time favorite songs.  I thought she did an incredible job.  I am not sure why vftw has her for this weeks pic - Ramiele, Jason and Ezie all did worse.

David C - I mentioned to Andy last night that he is one of the only rocker contestants that I have ever liked (aside from Constantine).  He sounded great!  I do like the MJ version of Billy Jean better though. lol

So picking a bottom 3 this week is tough for me:

Ramiele, Ezie and Jason

With Jason being safe and one of the other two going home.

I did not vote but instead went to bed when it was over, so I can't complain about the outcome.

I don't know, Kristy did a good job with the song, I agree, I just think she might be at the bottom for past performances.  Eze could be there too, no doubt.  Love songs are just not his things.

I love Queen too, and actually when Kady Malloy did Who Wants to live forever, I liked the song (it's a hard song to sing).  Freddie Mercury had such a dynamic voice (did you ever hear him sing Barcelona with the opera singer!), and sings powerful songs.  But Michael does weird arrangements --- like he did in A Day in the Life Last week.

Yes, Jason just looks goofy singing songs in different languages.  His performance and Ramiele's were nothing memorable.  Syeshya was memorable, I agree.  Chikezie was not.  So I could honestly say he is in trouble too.

Definately fan base will come into play here, and that's why I think Kristy is in trouble.  As Simon said, Ramiele did much worse last week, but wasn't in the bottom 3.  Maybe she has a fan base..

I didn't vote either.

After the program made dinner, and then watched Jericho.  Lots of loose ends to tie up in 1 hour with Jericho, but at least it was an ending.... They setup for a civil war between the states east of the Mississippi (The Columbus, Ohio government) versus the west government (Cheyenne, WY government), but didn't start the war.  If by some miracle another network picks it up, they could go ahead with that story.

I know the bottom 3 is going to be tough tonight.  I really hope that Jason doesn't go home - I think he has a great voice, and his hair is growing on me (but Andy did say he also hated his hair. lol).

I am thinking Kristy won't be in the bottom 3 because she did well this week, and also because she is the votefortheworst pick and that alone will get her a ton of votes.

I think Ramilee, Chikeeze, and Kristy will be in the bottom 3 but I feel Kristy will be safe and one of the other 2 are going home. I liked Brooke, have always liked Brooke though. Seysha, blah, boring! I love Queen so while I liked Michael's performance (better than the last few weeks) I'm wishing it was Freddy singing instead! David A. did okay, and I agree with Simon, too funny! Poor guy I heard on the radio that his Dad is the one that picked the song. Jason, I'm really hoping he does something different, exciting next week. And David Cook is my pick for the winner this year (we have yet to have a rocker win) and I loved his performance! I've noticed that Michael Jackson's songs are actually really good when done by rockers (Alien Ant Farm redid Smooth Criminal and it was a hit).

Okay, got 1 of the bottom 3 right. Syesha, I don't care for her but am surprised to see her in the bottom 3, as well as Jason. I thought he had a bigger fan base. And I'm not surprised to see Chikezee gone, but I figured it would be Ramilee going home.

And did ya'll see Danny N. behind the judges? Man he must really be good friends with Ramilee to be going to almost every show!
