A very good question Elaine, but I think one that is going to be impossible to answer.

To get a really accurate account, we would have to decide certain things? Do you want us to consider Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck as an Animal? Do you want us to consider only theatrical releases, and video? Do we want to consider Touchstone too as a Disney company (IE, they were the distributors of Rodger Rabbit)... I was doing some work on finding all the Disney movies just in preparation.

Ok, my answer was the reference to Toy Story in Cars....it was Dinoco.  Andy and his mom stop at Dinoco on the way to Pizza Planet.

Aladdin, Aristocats, Great Mouse Detective, Hercules (does that count, Pegasus doesn't really talk, just grunts and stuff, but Phil talks and he's 1/2 animal), Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Mulan (does Mushu count?), Oliver & Company, 101 Dalmatians, Rescuers, Robin Hood, Sword in the Stone, Tarzan...Ok, theres my list!   Add K's 7 to my 15 so that's 22

I guess it's easier to say what movie DOESN'T have talking animals!!

Are we counting toy animals? If so, both the Toy Story's. What about dinosaurs? The movie Dinosaurs would count as well. Meet the Robinson's (the frogs talk), Ratatoullie (or however it's spelled) Brother Bear, one and two, did someone already say all 3 of the Lion Kings, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh......I'll think of more later.
