Alright so, Tuesday afternoon Molly and I left the boys at the hotel and headed back to MK. Molly had an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This is a truly magical experience. OMG! Of course Molly choose the Jasmine costume as after the personal visit that morning she was all about some Jasmine. Also, I think Molly is being to recognize that she doesn't look like the other princesses. She was getting so tired though. She is like me, when people play with her hair, she tries to go to sleep. Her Fairy Godmother in training was very sweet. She was from Puerto Rico and once she realized we were Spanish speakers she began to speak in Spanish to Molly. Later Molly said that she knew that she was a "real" fairy godmother because she god mothers speak other languages. (Molly's actually godmother speaks French and Arabic.)
After she was all dolled up we went and had pictures made and she was all smiles. Right after we met up with the boys. That night was the Pirate and Princess party. Ryan should up and Gabe was not in his Peter Pan costume. As opposed to going back to the hotel, we just headed over to the Pirates of the Caribbean store to get him a costume.

Alright, so here is where our story gets funny...sort of...

While I was in the changing room with Gabe, Molly had a melt down. In her defense she hadn't eaten yet and she was tired. As she is crying it begins to rain. Not just a little orlando sprinkle but a huge bucket of water, hurricane, winds, thunderstorm/tornado warning RAIN!

So at this point we get Gabe in his costume, put on some ponchos, put the screeming girl in the stroller and head over to the Photo Shop to get her Princess pictures, try to find something to eat, and determine if they are going to cancel Pirate and Princess night.

Well, they didn't cancel the evening, they just canceled one of the firework displays and all the parades. We ate some hotdogs and Molly calmed down a little.

We took our treasure map and ponchos and headed out. Yes, we could walk right on to any ride we wanted, to wasn't outside. We went on Peter Pan and Small World 3 different times, Dumbo twice, Barnstormer 3x in a row without getting off. Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, and Speedway no wait, just ride. As far as the treasure is concerned I was a bit disappointed. The write up mention chocolate coins, jewels, etc. Nope! Plastic Beads, stickers, and PAPER HATS. Did I mention the horrible rain? They gave us paper hats.

Before you think we didn't like it, we did. We loved it. We laughed a lot. We laughed at the absurdity of walking around in a torrential downpour as a map was disintegrating were the wet pulp remnants of our hats just to ride small world without waiting, we laughed as a family and because we were together having an adventure.

Right so the next day the kids we starting to get sick so we slept late. We actually slept a little to late and had to RUN to get to Magic Kingdom by 10:45 to go on our Family Magic Tour. we got there at 11:10 and they were waiting for us.

I am glad you had so much fun at the P and P party even in the rain.  That is the best time to go to Disneyland too.  For some reason, rain scares people. lol  But walk on rides are wonderful!

I wonder why they changed the prizes for the treasure hunt.  Did you happen to ask?  And it's too bad the rain ruined your map, but I am hoping you have pictures of the night to help remember the special time!

Bibbidi Bobbidi sounds wonderful.  I bet Molly looked adorable.  I am hoping for pics (hint, hint lol).

And I meant to mention in your tour topic but forgot - It is so nice that they waited for you!  I hope the kids had as much fun as you adults did. lol

cat- did you buy the most expensive package? Did they put fake nails on the girls? And I have read that you get to keep the leftover make-up and nail polish. Is that all true?  I can't wait Kyan is having it done but the day of our princess dinner.

Cat - the pictures on the website isn't working now - when we upgraded servers it went down, and knowing we will be upgrading again, Andy has not been able to fix it yet.  But in the meantime you can pick a few favorites and put them in your posts!

We will let everyone know when the pics are working again.

I had no intention of getting the expensive package, but 200.00 later, I had. It was worth it to us. She got the costume, the shoes, wand, the crown, plus she got a rhinestone tiara and rhinestone Mickey barrette. She was givin the nail polish, make-up, and face ornaments. I did see some girls getting the fake nails (press ons), but Molly just had her nails painted. They also gave her some stickers and a sash. It was magical.
