The Family Magic tour was AWESOME! We arrived a little late, but they waited for us. We were offered free coffee which we took it as it was COLD and water which we also took because it was free. We went into the courtyard and met our new adventure friends, Frankie the CM, and a family from Michigan and a young lady named Julie. So the scenario is Peter Pan stole Captain Hook's favorite hook. If Hook doesn't get it back, he will take over the park and turn them into evil parks. Pan left us a map to find the hook and save Disney World. We had a bag full of Mickey dust (tootle shaped confetti) we had to sprinkle it whenever we need some strength or bravery.
Our clues took us all over the park. We ad to sing "When you Wish Upon a Star" in front of the barber shop. We found hidden Mickeys in Tomorrowland. We had to act like our favorite character in front of the castle. Keep in mind that the people at the park have no idea what we are doing and why. We ran into PUSH ad he questioned what we were doing. Gabe and Molly were very impressed by this. At one point we had to play follow that leader. Frankie had us choose from a bag with how we were to act as the leader. I pulled "zombie" (This is funny as a I have a love/hate relationships with zombies.) So when it was my turn my husband and I led our group in the zombie dance from Thriller. The CM said he had never seen anyone do that before. Eventually we ended up near adventure land and a little alcove. Wendy snuck up on us and she had the hook attached to the back of her dress. She stayed for pictures and we all received a certificate and many thanks for helping save Disney World. Gabriel made sure he told everyone he saw how he had saved Disney.

We hung out at the park for a bit and did a few more rides then headed back to the room.

Later that evening Marec (15), Gabriel (6), and I went to Epcot. We thought we could eat and shop then see illuminations. Well, we made the mistake of eating in France. It took two hours. Yes, I had reservations. We got in very quickly, but it took 2 hours to get our food and check. Gabriel has said he will NEVER go back to France, NEVER!

We did have a few minutes to get to Japan. Gabriel practiced his few words of Japanese and one of the CM wrote his name on his sticker in Japanese. He was impressed. We were able to watch illuminations and it was not as spectacular as I remembered it from two summers ago.

Thursday was our lets see our favorites day. We had breakfast at MK with Pooh again. Not as fun this time, we never even got to see Piglet or Tiger.

Marec headed back to the hotel. We went on Sapce Mountain, Buzz, Monster's Inc. Laugh floor, stitch, and Magic Carpets.

Then, we headed over to Epcot, we ate in Mexico (it was alright-churros at Disneyland are superior to those at World), then while the boys went on test track Molly and I were going to go to Nemo, but she choose to see the characters.

We left and then went to Hollywood Studios. We saw Beauty and the Beast (alright), met the Power Rangers, and went to see the Indiana Jones Stunt show. Ryan was chosen to be a part of the show. He heft us and went to on stage to play an extra. He was very proud of himself and did a great job.

We went back to the room and had room service. It was our first early night in.

Friday we went to Sea World. We should have done another day of Disney, I was unimpressed and felt it had cost more money.

However, that night we did go to the Aloha Celebration at the Polynesian. INCREDIBLE! The food was awesome! Oh when we sat down I saw oranges on the salad. I got a waiter over and told him of Mollys's allergy. A chef was sent out and he went over the whole menu and what she could or couldn't have. They made her a separate salad and she had a kids box, it contained mac and cheese, chicken leg, and something else I forgot.
In between courses the show would happened. It started pretty simple, singing, dancing, etc. After dessert it was amazing! All I can say is FIRE DANCING!!! What a great way to end our vacation.

We left on Saturday and had a completely uneventful return. With the exception of two sick children and one sick me.
I had to go to the emergency room that night. My feet had been hurting and I hd been feeling ran down, but I was thinking it had to do with the walking etc. Well, once we were home, I sat down to mess with my feet. Well, one of feet was red and one toe was oozing pus (I know gross). Well, as it turns out I had cut my toe and it had become infected and it was spreading. So, antibiotics for me. Gabriel's developed fever and ended up with a horrible ear infection. He missed another week of school.

And thus ended an awesome Disney Vacation.

Cat,

The tour sounds FANTASTIC!  I am glad you had so much fun.  So the zombie dance from Thriller huh?  I would have loved to see you guys doing that. lol

Fire dancing?  Wow, that sounds amazing.  And it is awesome that the Chef came to talk to you to find out what your daughter could eat.  I love CM's (most of the time), Disney does a great job with their Chef's that for sure.  I will have to remember the Aloha Dinner and the tour if I ever get to go to WDW.

They do that tour in Disneyland too - or something similar.  I have never done it, but have heard it is awesome.

I am sorry you all came back sick!  Ouch, and infection on your foot?  I am used to very swollen, red, bruised painful feet from walking at Disneyland but have never had that problem.  You must have been in horrible pain.  Thank goodness for the adrenaline while at WDW right? lol

I try to warn everyone about Sea World. I love the park but they nickel and dime you to death. $3 here, $4 here and one tray of fish isn't enough you have to buy 2 or 3 at a time. Yep been there done that although we do plan on going back for Kyan to experience it since the last time we was there Trey was 3 and Ky 6mo.

The Aloha dinner and show sounds awesome. Did they serve you the pineapple bread? That is my favorite at the Ohana breakfast.

The tour sounds awesome but I am not sure if we will do it since Wendy is the only character out at the end. I was told Peter Pan is normally there. Did you go and do Philarharmagic with you all? That was what TR's said in the past about the tour

Sorry to hear about your foot and toe. But we are glad you are back

Yeah I have heard Philharmagic is wonderful and from the 20 DVD set we sell on here I have seen it but not in 3-D.  That is the one show I will absolutely not miss when I finally get to go to WDW.

the show is awesome but some reviews say that the characters that you meet take you to the show and sit with you for it and you don't have to wait in line.

Sounds fantastic.  Now I might do the family tour thing....or at least cheer others on if I see them!  It would have been a sight to see!!!!

I feel your pain with the toe as I was always forever with infected (and puss filled) ingrown toenails....and blisters galore.  I'm glad you got it taken care of before it got even worse!!!!

Mynde - All it takes is faith and trust...and something I forgot...Dust...just a little bit of Pixie Dust

Wendy did not go with us to any shows she just hung out and answered the nearly one million questions from my children. I'm not sure if we would do the tour again. It was fun, but a LOT of running around.

Philarmagic is awesome. It was Molly's favorite. She calls it Mickey Magic. She also refers to Small World as Little People. I had no idea what to expected with Philarmagaic, so I was totally surprised. WOW!

Yes, they had the pineapple bread it was way yummy. Molly was served a whole grain roll not as tasty but she liked it.

The toe is doing much better. I really just thought it was a blister so I hadn't really even looked at it. I just kept truckin'. My bad.

Thank you all for your warm thoughts.

I've had dinner at the Polynesian.  I remember all the meats on stick (all Brazilian style).  Very delicious!&
