| | Keith - I love everything you write, and never consider you long-winded - keep up the very thoughtful responses. You make me think of Katie - Fantasmicmom because she was the same way - I really miss her and hope she is okay. And I am totally with you. I love Disneyland so much it is incredible. I can't think of ever saying anything bad about the park on here - only about Disney - (and that is just this: they never ask my opinion. lol). I see so much magic when I walk through those gates. It is all magic. When my sister-in-law listened to my story of the characters playing with Alex at Goofy's Kitchen in December, she leaned over and said "you know their not real, right?". That totally upset me. The fact that she simply can't believe in the magic. To me, yes they are VERY real. It is a dream come true every single time we get to go. It is amazing I found someone who love Disney almost as much as I do - that not only created a website for me, but then added these boards for me and is happy to go to Disneyland for every vacation. Yes, it is all magic. I am totally into the magic of Disney. I believe in faith, hope, and pixie dust. Change is good. It is how we Keep Moving Forward. And like it has been stated, with no change, we would have almost none of what we have today at Disneyland. Can you imagine going to Disneyland and not having Indy, Buzz, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, or Big Thunder Mountain? Could you imagine going to Disneyland to ride the Mine Train, or take a trail ride on a donkey? Nope - I am all for the changes. It is what makes it such a special place today, after so many years. | Keith and Leanne, you have both written such wonderful posts about the magic of Disney. I love Disneyland as well and I'm fortunate to live close enough that I can go visit several times a year. Change is inevitable but there's one thing that always stays the same; Disneyland is the most happiest place on earth and is the most magical place on earth.

| | Okay after just riding Small World in WDW. I did not notice any USA room but maybe I was wrong. I did however notice the rain forest and I did not care for it. For some reason when I first thought rainforest I though of the African room. But the rain forest had not people in it only a couple birds and a tiger. Just don't get it. I am totally for dedicating it to USA but I still don't know how I feel about the characters. I do like the idea of maybe a Walt and a mickey in there though. Off to read the new article Leanne posted.

| I don't know about the rest of you but I see nothing in those pictures that have Disney characters aimed at selling merchandise. They blend in nicely and are well done and classy. If the United states one is what they are thinking about for Disneyland also then I think the so called patriotic room is overblown, I loved how it was done.
Keithno one can tell me God doesn't exist, when I can look into my daughters eyes and see the glory of his creation given to me out of love. |

| Once again Keith, I have to agree with you I think the pics are great, and they do blend in nicely without being over done. Even on the Cinderella one, she looked more like a small world character than herself. It will blend in nicely.Leanne
