Weds March 26

We had priority seating at 8am at the Plaza Inn-Minnie & Friends Character Breakfast.  You go to lines 1 & 2 to be let in (checked in).  You go in when they open the gates, but you do avoid the very long lines of the general public.  We made our way down to the Plaza Inn  & were seated promptly.  Now I have to say the food was bad & cold but the amount of characters here were huge.  We saw 11 characters (with only 2 not making our table)  We saw: Pooh, Eeyore, Capt Hook, Fairy Godmother, Chip, Dale, Geppetto, Max & of course Minnie.  The other 2 characters running around were Rafiki & Rabbitt.  The kids enjoyed themselves & will include this into next trip.

We went over to DCA to spend the day.  We got our fastpasses & went to see the Muppet 3-D movie.  The 2 yr old kept her glasses on for the entire movie!!.  We then made our way over to the Hyperion Theater for the first showing of Aladdin.  We had priority seating for this but the line was very long & they only take the first 150 people for priority seating.  We wouldn't have made it.  Keep in mind we are more than an hour before the show.  So we got into the lines for everyone else.  You stand in the hot sun forever & they let you in 10 minutes prior to showtime.  They would make a bundle if they put up drink carts in the waiting area.  We watched this time from the Mezzanine area.  I didn't like it as much from up above because you can see the stage holes opening up & you lose some of the effects from that view.  Last trip we sat on the Orchestra level & enjoyed it much better.  The show is always very good & the Genie is hilarious.

Guess what ran today......... the Pixar Play Parade!!  We were very excited to finally be seeing it.  It runs about 15 minutes with no stops.  Plan on getting wet & soapy.  The bubble machines sometimes spits out big gobs of foam.  The 7 year old was extremely excited during this parade & yelled AWESOME probably 100 times.  So it was a hit with him.

We had dinner at the Taste Pilot's Grill.  Hands down the best burger in the parks.  We ate here a couple different times.  We rode our fastpass rides (even getting Mike on California Screamin' this trip) & laid claim to an area for the Electrical Parade.

Really enjoyed today (except the Aladdin wait).  The weather was a bit cooler which helped a lot.

I'm glad you finally got to see the parade! Maybe the bubble machines were what was the problem before and they didn't get it all fixed? I don't know if I would want to be soapy and wet after watching it. Wet I could handle, soapy, not so much.

Andy was just telling me that it was down because they were trying to fix the water issue.  People were getting absolutely drenched.

I know that we will not be able to sit close for this parade - Alex will be very upset if he gets wet!

Glad you got to see it - great pics!

The parade looks so cute. I don't know how I would feel about being soapy. I can handle bubbles but walking away covered in them is no fun.

Not sure you were supposed to be hit by the globs of soapy foam or not & the water doesn't seem to be controlled either.  My husband & I both got hit right in the face while taking pictures & videotaping.  That's not much fun either.

I guess when we see it, we will have to pick a place where we can stand in back and see everything so we don't get wet. lol  I think I know where we can do that, but will have to see.
