We love taking a break on the benches around the flagpole on Main Street.  Lots of goings on there.  Fun to people watch, watch for characters, music groups, listen to the train station announcement, etc.  We also found this to be a good spot for watching the Parade of Dreams & the Fireworks.

During our last visit when we needed a break & wanted the kids to run around without getting trampled, we sat between the parks by the lockers.  We found shaded benches to sit as we watched the kids run around the posts of the monorail track.  It was peaceful for us & the much needed break the kids wanted.

At DCA we love to sit by the big golden sun.  Listening to the water & people watching is relaxing.....

Great question!!!

Ah yes, the sun fountain area is a nice one too!  I sat on the benches outside of TofT for a while.  We got to see many characters walking out of the staging area....but none could stop to chat.  We didn't really take much time to relax at all at DCA.  We literally ran to the rides we wanted and back over to DL.  Hopefully next time we go out (after all the remodel!) we'll have plenty of time to spare for BOTH parks!!  There was so much that we missed at DCA (for example, I didn't even see Maliboomer which I would have loved!).

The ToT staging area - the there is a photopass person there and a character comes out that you have to see - let him know.  They will have the character stop for a picture.  That is exactly how I got Dopey this time!  Max was out taking a pic with Alex when Dopey came out - I told the photopass man, and he asked Dopey if he would mind stopping for a quick picture with me.  He did!  Then he was on his way.

Yeah - aren't you glad I shared that one with everyone!  I sure hope the CM doesn't get mad at me
