| I'm glad everything I've been reading about Oct weather is saying mild, warm enough for shorts but cool enough that we won't die.

| I spoke to my uncle former FL resident and he said Sept and Oct are the worst for hurricane season, that is really my only concern. But being more inland helps

| Well, really what's a hurricane? I grew up in OK, lots of tornados, went through the backside of a typhoon while I was in the navy (man the ship was rocking! I actually slept well that night, go figure.) we'll just add that to my list of storms I've gone through.....of course it won't be fun while I'm sitting in my tent.

| Danette - does your tent have a bottom? Just put a tarp over the bottom part of the tent and enjoy it. It may get windy though! Actually - hurricanes don't hit Orlando very often. Only the really bad ones hit that far inland and frankly I can only remember having that happen twice. So it should not be an issue. If it does though, you will just see wind and rain. And as long as the parks stay open, consider yourself lucky because most people will stay away in those conditions! Leanne

| Back to bugs....there were really only the love bugs. The love bugs eat other bugs so it's really just them right now. They are annoying cause they land on everything, but they don't bite so it's ok! Just swat them off. The weather was HOT and HUMID when we arrived. Then the temps fell that night so our first day at AK was foggy. It was awesome! Then it burned off by 10 or so. Back to being hot, but not as hot as the previous week I guess! By the time we left for home though the temps were back up and the humidity was at 92%. Yikes for us 2% Coloradans!

| | It was 90% humidity last week when I went with about 35 degrees Celcius, and I gotta say it was amazing. haha the humidity was actually bearable and all the stores and restaurants were air conditioned. You get used to it quite fast. When we got home, it was hard to breathe because it wasn't humid. lol And about the bugs, I only saw what they call "love bugs". They are quite annoying at times, but the magic of disney helps you forget about them :p
