| (Keep in mind that the last few times we have been to Disney Themed parks we were living in Arkansas and thus we went for several days. Also, I did a ton of research and shared that with the kids. My husbands jokes that when we went to WDW, we got the VIP treatment because of all my planning :-)
Anyway, yesterday our new neighbor went to Disneyland Tokyo. Today the daughter, 6, and my Molly, 4, were talking about the park. Molly was asking about the Princess castle, if she saw characters, who did she eat with, etc. All the neighbor said was that they waited in line. Molly looked at her and then later she asked why they had lines in DL Tokyo. I laughed.
Molly then asked why she only went for 1 day. My kids are spoiled.
After talking to the mom I figured the reason the waited in lines, it they had no plan at all. (I do expect the lines here to be longer, but they do have fastpasses and they have the parade and show schedules on line with a list of closures...YOU HAVE TO HAVE A PLAN!)

| | I do know that at one time, Tokyo Disneyland was the most visited park in the world (even surpassing WDW). In 2006, it was #3, with 12,000,000+ visitors. I really didn't wait too much when I went on a weekday. I'm curious to see your kids reactions from the Magic Kingdom... |

| | When I went, I actually just ate much junk fast food. I do remember a place which served great crepes (shrimp with Shrimp), and you could see them making them right in front of you. I will have to find the name for you later tonight.... The Japanese like to bring their Nintendos and PSP's and play them while waiting for rides. They really seem to enjoy little gadgets, so that is neat... I hope you get there before the park opens and see the people running through the park. It just cracked me up.. Also stay for a parade and see if there is any rhythmic clapping (when I was there they had a Halloween parade, and Haunted Mansion was Nightmare Before Christmas themed).. |

| I bet the lines move slow then....people focusing on their games and not on the line moving. I'd be impatient!

| | TeacherCat-- I only ate at cafe Orleans. Watching them make the crepes there is very interesting. The price was fairly reasonable.. I cannot wait to hear your experience from there!!! Kevin |
