Linnea would love to see it. I have no idea about it's content, or if it's a prequel/sequel, etc.

Curious if anyone else knows about this new movie.

From my understanding it's the movie between the 2nd and 3rd prequel, it's about the clone wars. Other than that I don't know much about it except it sounds awesome!

I know Joshua wants to see it too.  But I have no clue what the content is.  I have seen all of the Star Wars moives but couldn't tell you what happened in which one!  Groan.  I'm not a sci-fi fan.

But, doens't the movie have a low rating?  PG maybe

Here's what I found out:

Rated PG for sci-fi action violence throughout, brief language and momentary smoking.

Sex & Nudity

There is no nudity, but the vague suggestion of sexualised dancing.

The violence comes mainly in battle sequences. There is very little detail of human injury. Many of the protagonists are mechanised/non- human. In one scene the decapitated heads of non - human creatures are briefly seen as they are presented on a stretcher; again, there is no injury detail.

Infrequent uses of mild bad language such as 'scum' and '****'.

No alcohol.

One scene in which the smoking of a hookah pipe is shown but only for a short moment.

basically the movie is a lead in to the new clone wars series on cartoon network that starts in the fall  with the same characters. It does take place between clone wars and revenge of the sith. I am taking my 6 yr old to see it but not for a week or so probably.

I KNEW I read it was going to be a series on TV!!!!  We argued till I finally caved thinking I was wrong.  But HA! I was right!

When you go see it you'll have to let us know if it's appropriate for a 4 year old.  I'm sure it is though!

The movie is okay, but it's really an hour and a half cartoon episode. Pixar makes ways better stuff. Heck, the people who did Kung Fu Panda do better as well (and I'm a HUGE SW fan.....).

Thanks for all the input. I think we might skip it. With the cost of movies these days, I feel like I really need to pick and choose the best ones.

This review is not too favorable: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080814/REVIEWS/808140301
