| | We are going to be at Disneyland November 11 - 14 and I was wondering if the Haunted Mansion will be decorated with any of the Nightmare before Christmas decor... either leftovers from Halloween or the beginnings of Christmas. Has anyone been at Disneyland in the middle of November? Thanks! |

| I believe the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay is put on the end of Sept and left until the beginning of Jan. My b/f and I have gone in Oct and early Nov (over Veteran's Day) and the overlay was up. As a matter of fact, he's never ridden the Haunted Mansion without the overlay. Yet another reason to go back to Disneyland!

| I REALLY want to see Haunted Mansion all decorated!!!! I just can't imagine how they do the transformation?! Does it look totally different? Do they just add a Jack Skelington (and other characters) into the mix someplace??

| | Heather - you will have Haunted Mansion Holiday. Haunted Mansion does indeed close in September for the overlay and it remains until January. I expect that it will go down for refurb before Small World this year due to the long closing of the ride, so I expect HM to close around the 6th of January. As far as the changes, it is a complete overlay of the ride. The storyline becomes Jacks story. This is very well done and we totally love both versions of the ride. Leanne

| | This is good news... my four year old would be extremely disappointed if he didn't get to see Jack!! My kids have never been on the Haunted Mansion ride without the Nightmare Before Christmas Decorations. I'm glad that everyone will be happy!!! (For this trip, anyway!) |

| | We have decided to take the boys to disneyland next October for the halloween festivities, since they have only seen it at Christmas. Halloween is my older boys favorite time of year, so before they get too old, I want them to see it , not quite knowing what to expect!! |

| I finally got to see what the Haunted Mansion Holiday looks like! They have a 'tour' on the Nightmare Before Christmas special edition DVD!!! Yea!!! It looks so neat...even on video..I can just imagine it in real life!!! I liked seeing all the different ginger bread houses on the table in the dining room. And it's neat that a new character 'unwraps' each week until they are all open!
