| | When we returned from Disneyland 2 years ago, I knew exactly what I would take or change if I ever went back...well we are, and I have totally forgotten all of my ideas. We went in December, as we are again so I know the weather can vary. I purchased some waterproof ponchos to help with the water rides. I know I will need more of a supply of coffee and cocoa for our room, $5 per cup can hit a budget hard and fast, so I need to be creative on that. Does anyone have any thing they would remember next time... or suggestions for my trip. I am trying to plan ahead with 3 months to go AND Christmas...I need to make every penny count!! |

| Unless you plan on buying sweatshirts or light jackets while you're there, make sure you bring some. You may be able to get away with long sleeved shirts during the day but will need something for the nights. Also, we always take the crystal light packets for water. We buy our own water outside of the park, drink the good water early and the fill up at a water fountain with the icky water but then dump the crystal light in and voila, good stuff to drink!

| | Yes, definitely plan on bringing layers. Especially for after the sun goes down, as it can get quite chilly. I agree with Danette - bring your own bottled water, or buy it at the grocery store. There are now several options for adding taste in your water - check the fruit juice isle at your local grocery store. You can add tea, juice in many flavors, lemonade - things like that to make water taste better. Bringing your own coffee, hot chocolate is a great idea if you have a coffee pot in the room, don't forget milk if you are going to have a fridge. Lunches can really add up. If you plan on returning to your hotel each afternoon you can even have lunch supplies in your room to save money. A week is a long time to have to bring meals! Leanne

| | Good ideas with the water! Where are you staying?? If you are off site you should eat at Captain Kidd's for breakfast. It's really cheap but has lots of options (buffet) for everyone! It's right across the street from the entrance. Or...go to Village Inn or Dennys, order a larger meal and split it between 2 or 3 of you! That cuts down on the Disney food so the budget stays lower! Don't forget an extra suitcase to bring all your goodies home in!!!
