Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Part 1

We get back to our room with little time to spare. Since the in-laws are coming to our room to ride over with us for the party. We got the kids dressed quick and Troy and I threw on our shirts. Every is meets back up together and I put the finishing touches of make-up on the girls. Every one was so ready and excited for this party.

When we get to the Magic Kingdom everything looks different and I make everyone stop for a picture of the kids in front of the train stations pumpkins and fog. After the picture we start making our way to scout out a great location for the parade. We wanted to watch the first one in case it would start down pouring.

While Deb & I saved our spot in Frontierland. The DH took the kids to some of the trick or treat locations around the area. The kids were so excited and wanted to get more candy and not wait for the parade, but I refused to move. So, they went to get more candy and we held down the fort for the best parade I have ever seen.

Look how big those candy bins were.

Here is the parade.........

More to come tomorrow

OMG OMG OMG!! I can't wait to go! What kind of candy do they give out? It's going to take me all year to be able to eat that much sugar, and lots and lots of extra running! That parade looks awesome! I sooooo can't wait to see it! We were deciding on watching the last parade in hopes that it will be less crowded, but we may have to watch both to get some good pics. Okay, now I'm gonna try and sit here patiently while you get part 2 done. Did ya'll do the Villain thing? Are there meet and greets after? How about at the dance parties, good meet and greets?

Ahh, so Kyan got to use her Jasmine costume again!  Good!!

The parade looks wonderful!!  What kind of music plays??  Is it new music or just the villain music??

The candy is good candy, like Milky Way, Crunch bars, Twix, Reese's peanut butter cups, Sour candies, Etc. Lots of great fun for the kids

Troy video taped the parade while I took pictures. The song for the parade was called "Boo to You"  The small pictures I posted here do not do it justice.

I will try to get the firework and rest of the night up soon. Just warning you the night goes so fast and there is so much to do. We did not get to watch the villian show, I had to give in and let the kids ride some rides.

There was long waits for some of the characters so we didn't do many of those either. Snow White was with all the dwarfs and the line for that was crazy long as was the Pooh gang.

I'm so glad my child lets us skip the character lines!!!

Did you ride lots of rides then too??

I LOVE the pics of the ghosts.  I may have you email me the pic so I can use it for my desktop during October!!!!

Well we rode a few rides, Space mt twice, Pooh, Pan , Dumbo, Carpets twice. I am telling you the time goes fast. We spend from 7-8 waiting at our spot for the parade while the kids trick or treated. Then watched the parade till 8:45 ish. It was 9pm when we got done waiting in line for the picture with the carriage. Fireworks from 9:30-10ish. Then we did candy trails and rode some rides. It was 11 when they wanted the face painting and we spent a great amount of time in the adventureland meet and greet chatting with characters and cast members like Noah that was ever so awesome.

I did wish we would have done Haunted Mansion, because I heard there was a ghost sitting outside telling stories and such entertaining the guests. So D, go and see her for me and snap a picture.

I Loved the pictures.

The music for the parade is sooo good. Now and then when I need a fix I Youtube the parade.

The Haunted Mansion portion is the best. I love it when the grave diggers drag their shovels and get sparks from the pavement. It just sent chills up my spine!
