| | Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Part II The night continues after the wonderful Halloween Parade. After the parade we start to hit some more trails and then we come to Cinderella’s carriage. It was so beautiful. We stopped to get the girl’s pictures in front of the carriage. After I took Kyan’s picture in front of the carriage my camera’s batteries bit the dust. So I had to suck it up and got and pay $16 for lithium batteries for my camera. But these batteries are worth the money, I am still using them in the camera now. I just wish I would have bought them before the parade as I missed so many good shots, since the batteries were low and making the camera snap slow.
Now it was time for the fireworks. They were so pretty and the kids loved them.

After the fireworks the kids wanted to ride some rides. So we took the trail featuring the Mad Hatter and Alice that went from Toontown to Tomorrowland.

We rode Space Mt two times, it was a walk on, rode Pooh, & Dumbo. There was no lines, we walked right through the Dumbo queue and right onto an elephant. It was crazy!
Kyan went and danced with Chip & Dale at the dance party in Ariel’s grotto.
The girls then decided to go get the free face painting done. Kyan & Emma choose the Cinderella design, I went with the Tinkerbell design, & Deb had the daisy design. While we was having our faces painted the boys went on the Indy cars.
The girls then went into the Adventureland Meet and Greet and we saw Rafiki, Baloo, Jane, Terk, & then Tarzan appeared and I was in heaven. I made the comment, “Oh look Ky, there is Jane and Terk. Ohhh there’s Tarzan.” The photo pass guy laughed his tail off because he said the look on my face was priceless when I saw Tarzan. He told me he wished he would have taken my picture. However, Kyan was afraid of Tarzan and I had to hold her and go up there with her, so I don’t have the greatest pictures. After we exit we meet up with the boys and Trey decides to get his face painted and he wants to go to the meet & greet. I was talking with the characters handler Noah and how my boy wants to see them now and I finally got the autograph books from the husband. Noah took our books and went to the characters and got all the autographs so we didn’t have to wait in the huge line again for Tarzan and Terk, Jane had left. Noah was so awesome and it was great of him to do this for us. This time the characters appearing was Timon & King Louie in place of Baloo and Rafiki. King Louie was so funny. He would blow me a kiss, and I would blow one to him, then he would blow one to me, and then I back. This went on for several rounds, finally I said, “All right Louie” and I went up and hugged him. And then he planted one on me and wouldn’t let me go. Finally when I escaped he started the kisses again, till I walked away. King Louie definitely won a spot in my heart that night.

After the meet and greet fun, we went over and the kids done the Magic Carpets. As they were getting ready to take off for the last ride of the night the skies opened up and a flood drenched us. I took refuge under an umbrella by the ride but the kids were stuck on the ride with my brother-in-law. The ride hadn’t took off yet and they announced anyone wanting off could. Well Kyan decided she wanted off about the time Scott passed her over him and put her feet on the ground. The worker started the stinking ride. If it would have been two seconds earlier or later she would have been in the water under the ride. The other worker saw Kyan and freaked out and grabber her hand. He lead her over to Troy and apologized over and over again. Luckily the party was over and the rain only lasted for maybe 10 minutes. I took my time strolling out of the park just soaking it in.

| Love the pic of Ky sleeping! Looks like she had an eventful night. Wow, that was pretty scary getting off the Magic Carpets, was Ky scared? Love the pics of the fireworks, I can't wait for Jake to take some pics now! And yes, we only use lithium in the camera now. We bought some last Dec and they just now died. That camera lasted through Christmas, through Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, a trip to my sister's new house, a trip to Jake's sister's house over Labor Day, and countless other little things we've taken pics of, and they just now died. I'm seriously talking about thousands of pictures with one set of batteries.
Ohhh, I can't wait to go now!

| | we normally use rechargable ones. However, Monday night I had forgot to charge them, that was the night with horrible bus issues. I will say that if you have to buy the batteries at WDW it is worth the $16. Kyan had no clue what was happening just the people around her. The one worker saw it the other running the ride didn't and never apologized.

| | I agree with the Lithium batteries. The last forever!!! You'll never go back! You took AMAZING fireworks photos!!!! You are so lucky!!! EVERY time I try to take them they are all blurry messes! Yours are so crystal clear! The castle looks awesome in those!!! Why did the girls decide at night to get the face painting?? We got ours in the am so the kids could have them all day. J was a tiger and everyone commented to him or growled at him all day. Priceless! Where are the pics of your paintings?? Do post! Now....why were you so shocked and amazed at Tarzan? His bulging muscles and loin cloth? Have you never seen him out? We did at DL AND DW?! We've never seen Jane. Can't wait to hear more.....

| | Maybe I didn't word it well. Tarzan was popping out the door about the time I spotted him and it was a pleasant surprise, " Ooohh there's Tarzan!" The face painting was free for the night. The kids get it done on Friday in the morning. I didn't think to take a picture of the adults and I am always the one behind the camera.
