We have added that on to our 4 day Disneyland trip with ground transportation.  I am wondering if anyone else has done this before and their thoughts of it!

We added that a long time ago - about 20 years I want to say.  The transportation at the time was with Gray Line and they take you to the entrance to Universal Studios.  I have not been there since that trip but know there have been a lot of changes to the park.

From what I know you will have a great time there for the day.  Enjoy!

I haven't been in 14 years or so.  Yikes thats a long time!  Seems like just a few years!!

We enjoyed it back then and I bet now it's even bigger and better.  We ate at the Universal Studio's version of Downtown Disney last year.  That dining area was fun....

Please give us an update when you get back!  We'd like to hear if you liked it!!

We have visited US both times we have traveled to DLR, booked thru Disney travel on Graylines.  We found it kind of nice to get out of the resort area and see some of the LA area. Grayline picks you up in your hotel area, takes you to a hub where you transfer buses to your chosen destination ( US, Sea World, SD Zoo etc...), Your are then driven to the front gates of US for your day at the park. They give you a return time to meet the bus for the trip home.  Real easy to do and like I said before was nice to see some of LA with out driving yourself around.
